We had a great stay, The wine bar was a plus and we had the best gewurztraminer, I wish I had bought more and am hoping to source it in the States. The location was a bit remote for town but the view and atmosphere were very nice. The staff was very accommodating and we would stay again

The king bed was two beds pushed together so we had a crack in the middle of our bed. Not a big deal. A noisy family moved in upstairs the second night but we managed.

Lovely room, very clean, good bed! Breakfast overlooking the Mosel, super friendly host. Honestly a really nice place.

I do not like the pillows, but I always bring my own anyway. (matter of personal taste, way too soft for me) No remarks on the accomodation.

Outstanding experience

One of the best place to stay if looking for short break. Clean, great location, exceptional service and experience. In overall outstanding place by all means, staff/ facility /comfort / and even in this period of year with amazing view – it was exactly what I was looking for. For sure I will come back again!

Over rated place of stay

Located on a quiet street facing the river at the edge of the town.

I felt that the price should be lower than the asking price. And a bottle of wine should have been included at the price that we paid. Even tea and coffee were not free.

Superb!!

Wow! What an amazing property! The owners have put a lot of thought into their beautiful home, we had such a lovely stay and Melanie was so helpful, they weren't doing dinner the night we were there but we had a fabulous meal in Zum Eichamt (on recommendation from Melanie) and it was superb. Our room was so beautiful and spacious and with a beautiful view of the Mosel, we will be back!

Everything was perfect, we would have loved to have tried the wine tasting and meal so will have to come back!!

Michael and Melanie have a beautiful property, they know it, and they take good care of it and of their neighbors to preserve it. It’s the perfect spot to run away on a long weekend, as we did, to check out the Mosel region, relax, and feel at ease in a very beautiful strip of the Mosel river. Everything is brand new at the property and Melanie and Michael are there to help you find the best way to enjoy your stay.

Es war ein großartiger Aufenthalt!

Die Unterkunft war liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber und grosszügig! Die Lage direkt an der Mosel war perfekt. Es gab einen Balkon und einen Salon, der von allen Gäste genutzt werden konnte. Die Anreise war unkompliziert. Wir haben einen Code für die Tür bekommen und die Mitteilung, welches Zimmer wir beziehen sollen. Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir von Katharina herzlich empfangen und haben das köstlichste Rührei und ein fantastisches Frühstück bekommen.

Bestens ausgestattete Unterkunft mit Wohlfühlambiente, tollem Blick und herzlichen Gastgebern

Einen besseren Start in unseren Moselurlaub hätten wir uns nicht vorstellen können! Melanie und ihr Mann haben hier ein kleines Paradies im Herzen der Moselregion geschaffen, was neben der vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten auch zum Verweilen einlädt. Wir konnten sogar einen Teil der Weinlese beobachten und bekamen dabei noch frischen Traubensaft gereicht…einfach nur klasse. Unser Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und hatte einen schönen Blick auf die Mosel und Weinhänge. Das Frühstück von Katharina könnte leckerer nicht sein und ihre positive und offene Art laden direkt zum Schwätzen ein. Uns hat es bestens gefallen! Besonders während eines regnerischen Tages konnte man vor dem Kamin sitzen und zu einem Glas Weißwein des Hauses oder einem guten Spiel die Zeit Zeit sein lassen. Absolut zu empfehlen, zu jeder Jahreszeit! Wer nach Gemütlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft sucht, der wird im Wohlgemuth Heim fündig!

De kussens veel te zacht en de matras voor mij te hard wel persoonlijk voor mij. Het ontbijt minimaal 1 broodje en geen yoghurtje of dergelijk

Mooie locatie in een rustige omgeving.

Het ontbijt was goed en voor een klein vakantiehuis behoorlijk uitgebreid. De locatie was mooi, direct aan de Moezel. Bij het ontbijt heb je ook prachtig uitzicht over de Moezel. Als het lekker weer is zijn er ook 4 stoelen op het balkon om buiten te ontbijten. Onze kamer was aan de achterkant en had uitzicht op de berg met de wijngaard.

De stenen vloer was af en toe wat gehorig. Ook waren de kussens voor ons veel te slap. Parkeren in de buurt is gratis, maar er zijn niet veel plekken direct naast het vakantiehuis. Het plaatsje Merl heeft verder geen winkels of horeca, daarvoor moet je naar Zell, ongeveer een 3 kwartier lopen, of 5 minuten met de auto.

Geweldig verblijf

We hadden een geweldig verblijf! De kamer was mooi en proper. Het uitzicht van in de ontbijtplek, de tuin en vanop het balkon was prachtig. Het ontbijt was lekker en was voldoende keuze. We zouden het verblijf zeker aanraden!

We sliepen op de zolderkamer. De lattenbodem van het bed is langs 1 kant kapot, waardoor de ene matras naar het midden zakt en je dus in een put ligt.

Erholung pur! Die entspannte Atmosphäre des alten Hauses hat uns allen gut getan! Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe renoviert worden. Die vielen Details machen den feinen Unterschied. Frische Blumen und tolle Lektüre stehen immer parat. Ebenso der frische kalte PET NAT, den man am besten nach einer Wanderung auf dem Balkon oder der Terrasse mit Moselblick genießt. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Schönes kleines Boutique Hotel mit direktem Blick auf die Mosel.

-Das Zimmer war in einem klaren Stil gut eingerichtet. -Badezimmer modern. -Frühstück super mit schöner Aussicht auf die Mosel. Die Frühstückslounge ist gut eingerichtet und bei wärmeren Wetter kann man draußen sitzen. - Elektrische Rollos zur Verdunkelung vorhanden. -Man konnte rundum gut gratis parken. - Zu Fuß konnte man auch in 30 min zu der Einkaufsstraße und Wanderwegen.

-Wenn man größer als 1,90 meter ist, ist das erhöhte Bettende leider unpraktisch, da zu kurz, wenn man sich ausstreckt. Für alle anderen wäre das Bett super.

- traumhafte Aussicht - super Lage für Wander & Fahrradtouren - sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet - bestes Rührei zum Frühstück und leckerer Kaffee - sehr feundliche & herzliche Gastgeberin und Personal. Immer erreichbar auch wenn nicht immer jemand vor Ort ist, bekommt man sofort eine Antwort - Check-in erfolgt selbstständig und dadurch ist auch eine späte flexibel Anreise möglich (nicht selbstverständlich in kleinen Pensionen)

Da fällt mir nichts ein. Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Urlaub.

Das Klappsofa ist etwas ungemütlich zum schlafen. Boden (Dachgeschoss Zimmer) knarrt etwas, aber nicht störend solang man nachts nicht aufs Klo muss.

Eine der nettesten und gemütlichsten Unterkünfte an der Mosel. Immer wieder gerne 🤩

Sehr gemütlicher Frühstücksraum, der mit dem schönen Moselblick und dem wärmenden Ofen auch im Laufe des Tages und abends zum Verweilen einlädt. Ein Gläschen Wein ,Spiele und Bücher stehen dafür zur Verfügung. Das Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll und heimelig eingerichtet . Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und bei Fragen behilflich.

Da fällt mir nicht wirklich was ein 🤷‍♀️ Vielleicht dass man mal das eine oder andere Geräusch hört, was sicher auf die alte aber wunderschön erhaltene Substanz des Gebäudes zurückzuführen ist. Mich hat es nicht gestört. Man sollte auch möglichst gut zu Fuß sein, da das Haus mitten in den Weinbergen liegt. Aber das fand ich persönlich gerade schön👍
