Green Haven

When we turned up we were met promptly and shown the facilities, which were all perfectly clean and ready to use should we need them. We stayed in the Daisy Cabin and it was great, small but packs a punch with everything you could need. We only stayed 1 night but it is more than able to support a 3-5 night stay with an air fryer and hob both available should you need them. We visited a few places in the local area and it was perfectly situated slap bang in the middle of them all so location was great. The lake was perfect for a little walk around and the lighting at night is great. We heard or saw no one else so it felt like a private lake for us! And finally, the bed, damn it was the comfiest bed we've every slept on. Climbing up stairs to it is a cool novelty that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Something we had to mitigate was the wifi/internet. It worked but due to the nature of the building (a metal box) it was very slow/unusuable within the property and we had to resort to using devices near the door or just outside. Something to think about. Also the lack of plug sockets. I didn't deep dive looking for more so I may have missed some but I think it would be beneficial with a couple more easily accessible sockets. Neither of these things effected our stay.

Great hosts and very helpful with local content, like shopping and where to eat etc.

The atmosphere of the whole site is very pleasant with a calming ambience. The owners were very welcoming and helpful.

If there was a separate toilet with the glamping pods it would be perfect 👌

Idyllic setting. We stayed in the Shepherd’s Hut, which was cozy and comfortable. It has a lovely quirky interior with very clever use of space and nice outdoor seating, perfect for breakfast. The location is green and well tended, and the lake very pretty.
