Superbe Appartement au RDC avec cheminée

We had a pleasant stay here while we attended the International Animal Rights Conference in Esch-sur-Alzette. We had to change our travel plans on short notice as our cat sitter had cancelled so we had to travel with our cats. Having said that we were very happy to find this animal-friendly apartment kind of close to the venue of our conference as it was most important for us to know our cats safe. The apartment itself was very spacious, which we all enjoyed and very safe for the cats! The decoration is tasteful and personally, I especially liked the art work on the walls. We all particularly enjoyed the very comfy couch and the very roomy bathroom with the big walk-in shower. Thank you for providing an animal-friendly safe space for people like us who travel with their fur babies!

GARDEN: One of my reasons to book this place was the garden that is mentioned because our cats are used to going outside and when we travel we try to find accommodations, where they can also enjoy some fresh air (under supervision as they are blind). Unfortunately it was not mentioned in the description that the garden is not attached to the house and that one has to cross the street to access it and that it is fully open to 3 our of 4 sides right next to the street. Needless to say our cats didn't get to enjoy that garden and we took them on walks in the stroller instead. DAYLIGHT: As the apartment is on the ground floor, there are blinds on all windows, which makes total sense to ensure privacy. However, the blinds cannot be opened at all so there is never actual sunlight and very limited daylight in the apartment, which was not nice for our cats who were in there most of the day as we visited our event. Also for me - who likes daylight - it was challenging also not no be able to look out of the window. EQUIPMENT: The kitchen is very minimally equipped(4 glasses, 4 plates, 4 cups, limited cooking utensils). In our case it didn't matter that much because we ate mostly at our event so we only really had breakfast in the apartment. However, usually we cook more on our trips as we are vegan and vegan options can be limited while traveling - and that would have been difficult. Almost as difficult as filling up the dishwasher with the few dishes that are available :) Also there were no fresh (unused) sponges in the kitchen to clean the dishes, which I don't find appetizing, not knowing what had been done with that sponge before. We bought new ones. Also the cooker hood was very greasy as were some of the cabinet doors and there was only 1 towel in the kitchen, 1 roll of toilet paper and 3 towels in the bathroom for a 6-night stay for 2 people. Anybody with long hair knows: 1 towel per person in the bathroom is not enough :)

I don’t know how to get to the apartment. no phone number is available. I had to call Booking.com on their English number (roaming cost for an international call). otherwise fine. loud traffic.

La taille, le design et l’équipement, surtout pour le prix qui est plutôt bas

La propreté (la vaisselle n’était pas faite en arrivant) et l’isolation (impossible de dormir avec les enfants des voisins du haut qui crient jusqu’à minuit 30, et qui prennent apparemment du plaisir à 5h du matin juste au dessus de notre chambre

Nos quedamos en otro alojamiento, por qué el de la chimenea no estaba disponible, sin embargo el otro alojamiento tenía 2 habitaciones y también era lindo

Je ne peu malheureusement parler du logement car il y a eu un problème avant mon arrivé mais le propriétaire a etait très réactif en me proposant un autre logement a 2 pas de celui ci. Donc un grand merci au propriétaire qui a etait disponible a tout moment pour répondre.

Comme nous n'avons pas eu le logement Mme a etait déçu de ne pas avoir la cheminée mais l'appartement de substitution etait plus grand avec un canapé confortable une grande télé et moderne dans son ensemble.

Ik denk dat er niet genoeg badhanddoeken waren en dat er maar één gezichts- of handdoek voor twee personen was. Het is onhygiënisch. Luidruchtige huurders boven, wekker om 5:30 uur elke dag. Ik raad ook aan om de koekenpan te vervangen

Appartement très spacieux, très confortable, propre, décoré avec classe et une touche d'originalité. Équipements très bien pensés, rien ne manque. De la bouilloire au sèche-cheveux, en passant par le plaid sur le canapé d'angle et un micro-onde... Parfait pour profiter du festival du film italien et d'une belle balade en forêt.
