The home was beautiful and the kitchen was wells stocked with everything one would need. There were a few minor issues but the host and property manager took care of them within 24 hours. I would happily stay again.

Thank you for the refund. That’s only about 5% for our inconvenience, however. We were prepared to love the property, but are so disappointed by the many maintenance issues and the complete loss of the kitchen refrigerator. The lack of attention to regular inspections and prompt repairs is inexcusable for a property advertising high-end comforts and amenities. The fact that the gas fire pit blew glass rocks out, failed to ignite and had gas fumes leaking could have resulted in injury and a very dangerous situation. While we do appreciate the prompt responses to our messages, the fact that the requested repairs were not made during our stay was very disappointing and potentially unsafe.
To recap:
Broken refrigerator, unable to use.
Broken disposal, repaired.
Broken dryer control panel, not repaired.
Gas leak in the fire pit, would not light after rainfall. It should be covered and a gas turn-off key made available. Unable to use.
The starter on the gas grill doesn’t work, had to be lit manually.
In addition:
The jets on the hot tub stopped working yesterday.
The ant traps in the kitchen are not effective. Ants got into our food.
We could hear a noisy outside pump which we assume also needs repair.
We learned from a repair technician that the property recently had a lightning strike, and quite possibly that caused some of these issues.
While we enjoyed the amenities that did function, we are unable to give Endless Summer a favorable review on VRBO.
