About this house rental
Ballymaigue has been beautifully decorated, it has a stunning kitchen diner that seats 10, three sitting rooms, 2 with TVs and a drawing room that is an elegant relaxing space. 4 of the bedrooms are ensuite, including one downstairs and the fifth bedroom has the bathroom next door to it, all have power showers and 3 have baths too. There is also a fully equipped utility room and a downstairs cloakroom.
Ballymaigue is approached by a tree lined avenue and sits on its own 2 acre site in which there is a walled garden all of which are ideal for children to play in as well as two terraces for outdoor dining and relaxing.
The house is perfect for families wanting to enjoy time together and days out at any of the family visitor sites. i.e Fota Wildlife Park, Bunratty Folk Park, Foynes Flying Boat Museum and many more that are also close by. Pretty Adare village is 15km away and has many historic churches and sites to visit as well as superb restaurants, pubs and cafe's. We are ideal for Golfers as we are close to excellent golf courses e.g. Adare , Ballybunion, Lahinch, Tralee and Doonbeg. Clonshire equestrian centre, the Ballyhoura mountains (biking, hiking and walking trails) and Limerick Greenway (biking and walking) are all within easy reach. Limerick Racecourse is also a 15 minute drive.
Shannon airport is a 35 minutes drive away and Cork airport 1.5 hrs.
At the end of a day of golfing, walking, riding or visiting, Ballymaigue is a perfect place to come back to and relax sitting in one of the sitting rooms or in the large garden watching the sun go down over Knockfierna mountain!

This is a wonderful location for day trips to Galway, Dingle, Cliffs of Moher.......with the necessities and comfort of home to fit a large family. The kitchen was the perfect gathering place to unwind after a day of exploring to share a bite to eat, drinks, and tell wonderful stories and share time together. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, the perfect spot to rejuvenate for the next awaiting adventure. The grounds were beautifuly groomed, a nice place to take a short stroll and visit with the animals. Such a pleasing place to stay on our family vacation. Check in was extremely easy and was nice to meet someone in person(who was very lovely) there was an explaination on how to use items in the home and places in close proximity for eating. She had breakfast items in the refrigerator and homemade cookies for our arrival......it was the extra special touches that mattered and we appreciated.....thank you kindly for sharing your home, it was perfect for our family vacation.

Beautiful house in a serene setting. The house was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. This is a manor house decorated and kept like any spectacular manor house.And Helen did a great job communicating and taking care of things.
