We loved the fact that the property was tucked away from the main road, but so close to the centre of the village; parking also was straight forward at the nearby car park. We came to Sussex ostensibly to go to two opera performances at Glyndebourne, but the village offered much more culturally (South Downs Festival), local bookshop, lovely walks, local lunch options. The property itself was compact, but not too small, well appointed and had everything we needed.
