Les Chats Noirs

Both owners, though about to separate, were very friendly and warm to my daughter and myself. The place was clean, bright and well-furnished. They really knew the town, too, the best and not too good restaurants. A new pizza restaurant has just opened, so we were concerned for the proprietors of the very popular other one in the town, which has been open over 30years. The lady-of-the-house checked it out and assured us that Isa and Claude (the owners of the established one) had nothing to worry about. What feedback! The area is very beautiful and tranquil, too. Having had a house not far from Pre en Pail for some years, I was delighted to be there.

I could have done with a warning about how many stairs to the apartment there were: I am 80 year old, have osteoarthritis and the day before I travelled there, I was diagnosed with labirynthitis the day before I arrived there. It wasn't easy climbing up and down. Oh! for a lift! I know that would cost money, but it would mean more content visitors returning to them as opposed to somewhere else.
