Wir haben die Wohnung in der 2. Hälfte Oktober gebucht, also in der Nachsaisaon. Die Wohnung liegt traumhaft in der 1. Etage über einer Apotheke (= Eigentümer der Wohnung) und hat einen "rundum" Balkon. Tags wie abends kann man wunderschön auf diesem Balkon sitzen und das Treiben "unter sich" auf den Straßen (abends meist als Fußgängerzonen gesperrt) genießen!
Die Wohnung hat viele Fenster mit Ausnahme vom Bad (leistungsfähiger Ventilator) und Küche (kleine Lichtkuppel). Die Wohnung ist deshalb sehr hell und man hat einen sehr schönen Blick auf's Meer (Ostseite).
Die Wohnung liegt in ca. 3 min. Gehweite zum Sand-/Badestrand und 3 min. zum Fähranleger für Touren entlang der Süd- und Westküste.
Die Wohnung ist komplett gefliest und deshalb gut sauber zu halten.
In der Küche gibt es alle Utensilien zum Kochen, lediglich eine Spülmaschine gibt es nicht.
Als Ansprechpartner gibt es einen "Hausmeister" (nicht der Eigentümer), der sich sehr kümmert und einem bei vielen Fragen hilft. Einzig, daß er Standard-Touristen-Angebote für Ausfülge zu entsprechenden Preisen schon mal einstreut, wo wir uns lieber indivuduell organisiert haben.
Es gibt zur Wohnung im 1. Stock eine Treppe, keinen Aufzug, bspw. um das Gepäck nach oben zu bringen.
Den Müll muß man zu Müllcontainern 2 Straßen weiter bringen.

Geräumiges Appartment, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Seit unserem letzten Aufenthalt vor einem Jahr gab es noch einige Upgrades, z.B. gibt es jetzt auch eine Nespresso-Maschine. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, zwischen Hafen und Sandstrand und etlichen Bars, Cafés und Restaurants.
Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der immer schnell erreichbar ist und sich um alles kümmert.

Excellent location in the centre of town. Bright, clean, spacious, modern, comfortable beds and pillows, well equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer and oven, good WiFi reception. AC in both bedrooms and living room. Photos are correct.
Small supermarket in 10 metres and another big one 6 mins walk. Cafes opposite for breakfast and an excellent bakery -Vakakis, 2 mins walk away.
There are many restaurants and our favourite was Aristea - quiet with a pleasant shaded courtyard and for quality seafood - Caravella.
Yannis was an extremely friendly and an excellent host who answered our questions quickly and met us on arrival. He has lived there all his life and has good recommendations for trips, hiking etc. He also arranged our taxi from Chania airport for €98.
For the return we took the bus to Chania - very comfortable for €8.30. The bus station is 4 minutes walk away.
Some evenings there was loud music being played till 3am. The double glazed windows help to diminish the sound, but it's worth bringing ear plugs.
It would be good to have a welcome/starter pack on arrival.
