Fantastic Place to Stay in Paleochora

We absolutely loved Paleochora Apartments. The location is fantastic, overlooking the sea-front with loads restaurants close by. Despite being in town it was always extremely quiet. There was a plenty of space for the 2 of us, both inside and on the lovely balcony. Bed and furniture was very comfortable. I would definitely book again.

The kitchen has a full sized cooker, oven etc and there is a tall fridge/freezer but there was a distinct lack of kitchen utensils and knives for prep. We didn't eat in other than breakfast but it would have been nice to have a kitchen knife or two to cut our fruit. Small issue, easy and inexpensive to remedy and it certainly wouldn't put me off staying again!

Great location. Ocean view spectacular. Friendly hosts. Amazing town. Good food.

We were used to Air B&B that sticks their apartments, condos and homes with soap, detergent, shampoo, welcome treats. We didn't bring any of those things. They did leave a bottle of wine. The locking mechanism on the entrance door was confusing. A softer bed for our 70- year old bones would be nice.

An enjoyable and relaxing stay in a lovely spacious accommodation in a great location.

Great location and views, spacious well equipped property. Nice to have balconies on either side of the property for sun/shade.

It would have been nice to have a table on the inland balcony to have the option to eat there. Having a mosquito screen on rear balcony window would have been ideal. The shower was great but very powerful for the bath space - did leak behind curtain onto floor first time it was used. Only used shower on part strength thereafter. Perhaps small fixed screen in that corner would help? None of these issues were major but hope feedback helps.

A great place to stay in Paleochora.

Excellent location with a fabulous sea view. Built to a high standard. Very easy check in and lots of parking nearby.

Not the fault of the owner, but I found that a neighbour’s caged parakeet was very annoying. This only affected the rear balcony.

AC worked very good

No mirrors, the balcony is very exposed, should not be with glass but rather something non-seethrough. Rain-water-shower did not work, then you could just leave it out. Fridge didn’t close properly, 1 ice tray missing.

Fantastic location, spacious modern accomodation, two balconies, sea view.

WiFi only worked for iOS devices (iPad), not for two different android smartphones and one Windows 10 laptop. (Probably just a minor configuration issue on the router.) TV is small for room size, without any streaming services (e.g. Netflix), or instructions in English.

Superb self Catering spacious apartment with spectacular views across the Ocean- It's a MUST folks!

Paleochora is a lovely quiet town to visit during the winter months and makes a perfect 2 night or weekend break for those like us who live on the island. We have stayed in quite a few of the accommodations on offer in the town and i must say that this is certainly by far the best! Paleochora Apartments is self catering accom and perfectly located on the sea front within easy walking distance ( 5 mins walk) to the shops/restaurants or just 2 mins walk to one of the very best restaurants "Pizzeria Odysseia" which is just a few doors down on the seafront and has to be some of the best cuisine we've ever had on Crete and the best value too. We were met by a lovely friendly lady who handed over the keys and kindly showed us whats what & where. The apartment is modern, spacious, spotlessly clean with magnificent views across the ocean. The bed was extremely comfortable with fresh fresh bedding. Being winter (feb), we were a lil concerned ( only due to past experience of other accom ) that the apt may be cold, but we were shown how to use the central heating and within 20 mins, it was home from home. The modern kitchen has all the correct appliances you would need for a long stay and a large stunning sea view balcony with table & 4 chairs as well as 2 sunbeds to enjoy a relaxing stay. The apt had all you could want and we will certainly be staying again in the future as it really was superb. Thankyou

Casa grande ed accogliente. Completa di tutto:tosta pane , moka, macchina per caffè Illy, set di base (sale,olio,aceto,pepe) . C’è anche la lavastoviglie. La sala con terrazza sul mare e’ una meraviglia 🤩 casa super pulita . Staff gentile e attento. Grazie Antigone per l’ottimo ristorante consigliato

Luftig og komfortabel leilighet med flott beliggenhet, balkong på begge sider av huset.

Verten besørget pizza, øl, vann og forfriskninger til meg da jeg ankom sent på kvelden. Jeg sendte forespørsel om dette i forveien. Jeg bad om å få betale for dette, men verten ville ikke ha betalt, og spanderte det på meg. Det var raust og uventet, men meget positivt! :) Ellers var det en leilighet uten måltider inkludert. Jeg laget min egen mat eller spiste ute, slik som planlagt. Renholdet var utmerket, og leiligheten var godt nok utstyrt til at man kan lage skikkelig mat selv, om man ønsker. Flott å sitte på balkongen og se bort til havnen, og høre på folkelivet. Likevel ingen sjenerende støy. God dobbeltseng på soverommet. Prøvde ikke sovesofaen i stuen.

Vanskelig å få ledig parkering i umiddelbar nærhet. Som regel noen minutters gange, til en ledig plass, selv om det ikke var noe stort problem for min del.
