Bugley Cottage

Such a lovely couple of days. The house is perfect and has everything you would possibly need, there was even a lovely welcome hamper waiting which was so kind. Everything was so clean and beautifully looked after . Getting to sit and look over the views is the best way to relax, even better when the dogs come to say hi. Loved it so much we tried to book an extra night there and then. We are waiting for 2027 dates to be out as we cannot wait to get back. My new favourite place .

Large enough to feel like you had space to enjoy it. Like home away from home. It had everything we needed for our stay. Great place if you're looking for a self catering quiet holiday. I would definitely stay here again.

Not of the property, but some of the roads are 1 car lanes. So drive slowly getting there.

Maryann went above and beyond with the welcome pack, not only was there aertisan bread bacon eggs and milk, she even baked a fantastic chocolate cake for us [and she found out it was one of the parties birthday so she even decorated it for him] ...the views and location were perfect [remote enough but still close enough to find things to do] the property is a beautifully converted dairy barn with some amazing features set in glorious surroundings, the birdsong was amazing and the darksky nature of the area meant the evening skies were lit up way beyond what we normally get at home thank you for a wonderful stay

during our stay the weather was amazing and the only thing we wanted for was a fire pit to enjoy the stunning views outside for a few more hours... but honestly that is just me trying to find something to pick as we all left three inches taller as the worries of the world left us...

We had a wonderfully comfortable stay in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The Barn is so well appointed, you will not want to leave! Thank you Maryann for being such a lovely, thoughtful host. We are very much looking forward to a return visit.
