Our stay in San George Cove Hotel

Great location, beach just at the end of the driveway, mix of sand and small pebbles, not too windy or wavy as the beach is located in the bay. All rooms with seaview and private balcony, property very well maintained. We stayed in a studio apartment with two single beds and a sofa bed, room was very well equipped, fresh bedsheets and towels every day, kettle, coffee maker, cutlery, plates, glasses dish washing liquid, sponge and dishcloth, cooker with oven, in the bathroom, toilet paper, soap, shampoo and shower gel, hairdryer, there is access to a laundry room with a washer and dryer, washing powder and liquid as well as different softeners which you can use. We forgot about our washing one day and found it hung outside the laundry room drying. They hung it up for us! Very nice gesture. The two single beds in the room were very comfortable. Amazing staff and service-our room was done everyday! Owner-Andrea is very attentive. A few shops and restaurants within walking distance (The last supermarket at the end of rhe bay is the best, many clothes, swimsuits, gifts and a good selection of alcohol is available) Great food, drinks, cocktails and stuff, aswell as service (special thanks to Gregory for taking care of us throughout our stay!) in San George restaurant/bar beside local supermarket. Also, great food and service in Blue Heaven next door (You can also locally rent a car there from the owner for a reasonable price). Nearby village-Afionas worth visiting, 30 minute walk up steep hills or 5 minute drive up steep hills, beautiful village, amazing views of the sea, great restaurants aswell as lovely local gift shops. It is best to drive using a small car with a strong engine. Not too many petrol stations around, the nearest one was 15 minutes away in Sidari, next to a big supermarket with fresh meats, ham and cheeses available, as well as fruits and vegetables. Everyone in restaurants, supermarkets, and local gift shops speak good English.

There could be more plates and cook pans in the apartment. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable. AC was very weak, didn't cool the room even when set to 16°C (last year we were in Hungary and even with 30°C weather outside, with AC set for 18°C, the whole room was properly cooled. Road conditions are very poor, with many potholes, sharp uphill turns, and narrow roads.

Morza szum

Wszystkie super. Widoki z okna bezcenne. Słychać szum fal. Do plaży rzut beretem. Wypuszczaliśmy dzieci same bo bylo ich spokojnie widać z balkonu jak chcieliśmy odpocząć w cieniu apartamentu jeszcze. Plaża czysta żwirkowa. Do pokoju codziennie zawitał tutejszy kotek który byl atrakcja dla dzieci :) niedaleko sklep i tawerny z pysznym jedzeniem.

Es war trotz kleiner Einschränkungen super!

Die Lage, die Bucht und der regelmäßige Service (Reinigung + Handtuchwechsel). Alle waren nett und zuvorkommend!

Die Schlafmöglichkeiten für unsere Kids (11,14) waren nicht so bequem. Ein Schlafsessel zum Klappen + ein Schlafsofa. Nicht für kleine Kinder geeignet und nicht für zwei größere Kids, da der Schlafsessel recht klein ist.

Апартаменты замечательны только своими размерами и близостью к морю. Все остальное не понраилось по той причине, что отдых нам испортили соседи- три старушки, которые в буквальном смысле сутки на пролет и днем и ночью очень громко, перебивая друг друга разговаривали, перетаскивали мебель, грохотали стульями и посудой. Ощущение, что я три дня и ночи жила рядом с целым автобусом детей выехавших на экскурсию. Дом расположен на берегу красивой большой бухты, прекрасный большой балкон, природная тишина и покой, на пляже людей очень мало, тишина и покой. Рядом прокат лодок и водное такси. Есть один магазин с основными продуктами ( без свежих мяса и рыбы) и таверна с кафешкой на берегу. Деревушка очень маленькая. Если бы не шумные соседи, было бы чудесно.

В описании указаны вид на море. Но студия расположена на 1 этаже, и море видно через сетку проводов, так что он не такой уж и прекрасный. Прекрасно смотриться газон с цветущими розами и другими цветами перед балконом, очень приятно и радует глаз. В номере очень светло по ночам, потому что входная дверь со стеклом и на нем нет занавески, штора на окне тоже не затемняла. Шум соседей и этот свет не позволяли заснуть. Хорошо, что выбрали эту студию лишь для путешествий по южному берегу острова на 3 дня, дольше здесь оставаться не хотелось. Моя оценка была бы выше, если бы владельцы предоставили пляжный зонт.

Tolle, erholsame Urlaub - so wie gewünscht!

Die Lage war ausgezeichnet. Blick vom Balkon zum Meer und Bucht einfach traumhaft. Ruhige Lage, fast leerer Strand und schöner Garten mit der Sitzmöglichkeiten und Grillplatz. Sehr Gepflegter Unterkunft und Garten. Freundliches Personal hat täglich frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche angeboten (wir hatten es nicht so oft gebraucht 🙈). Und Insel selber ist einfach zu verlieben! Wir haben uns sehr gut entspannt und hatten super Zeit. Genau was wir brauchten!🤩😎 Vielen herzlichen Dank!!! ❤️ Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen
