The location was amazing and the space in both the house and grounds were super.
The downstairs bedroom has a glass door so there was no privacy. The downstairs ‘family’ bathroom had opaque glass, which wasn’t ideal. Two bedrooms had baths but no showers

The house was beautiful and the grounds were lovely. The wood burner was a real highlight.
The property wasn’t very clean when we arrived. There were lots of cobwebs, dust and dead bugs. The hob stopped working mid stay. The kitchen was well equipped for some things but not others. E.g no baking dishes. The can opener was broken. Salt but no pepper. Only one cloth and one tea towel were provided in the kitchen. The location is pretty secluded so it wasn’t easy to just ‘pop into town’ to get stuff we needed. A clearer description of what we could expect upon arrival would have been helpful.
We absolutely loved our stay but it definitely could have been less frustrating.

A very tranquil escape with comfortable surroundings and everything you need.
The house is hard to find as there is no house name on the gate or entrance. Also its important to note that the grounds are on steep hills so anyone with mobility issues need to be aware that walking around the grounds is arduous. We took our two dogs as its supposed to be enclosed. We always closed the gate at the end of the drive however, a couple of times the gate had been opened and fastened down when we were at the property which made it unsafe for the dogs

The property was lovely. Roomy and spacious.
The downstairs bathroom would benefit from a full screen so the water does not escape everywhere. The extractor fan is missing.
Additional netting on the door for privacy. Door lock not very functional. Awkward to open and shut the window due to shutters. Toiletries would have been useful.
Two of the bathrooms did not have overhead showers.
The induction cooker was not straightforward so only used the gas rings. Some people found the beds soft.
The access to the property was extremely narrow and hedges were overgrown and scratching the cars. Hardly a passing place.
