1 Walkers Barn

Such a lovely cottage close to the centre of Settle- very well-equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. We loved our stay here.

The cottage was quite difficult to find. The bins outside were a little off-putting.

Very central but still quiet. More than enough space for 2 people. Would book again in the future.

Cutlery was comprised of just steak knives and one table knife, so buttering toast was difficult.

The property had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable with nice bed linen.

I would have preferred to know that it was behind a chip shop and Chinese takeaway (the fans were noisy late at night and we were woken both nights by people going to the bins). The property did have some cobwebs and the walls were quite badly marked in places. The outside was quite untidy compared to the photos. The shower screen didn’t seem to fit properly so water leaked onto the bathroom floor and the kitchen bin was broken.
