Casa aloha-Isla Holbox

The room was huge! Nice furnishings and spotlessly clean and well maintained. Had all the handy things many places are missing, such as power outlets on each bedside, bedside lamps, and sufficient shelves and racks in the bathroom for our things. The bed was huge and very comfy! Great to have our own kitchenette, with a fridge/freezer, microwave, sandwich press, blender and a single-hob electric stove (need to BYO salt and oil for cooking). Nice pool and quality A/C and fan. Location was perfect - a short walk to the town centre tucked away in a super quiet area. Room cleaning service available every morning on request.

Only issue (a very annoying one) was that the wifi didn’t work in the room. Needed to stand outside other rooms on the balcony or go down to the pool/reception area, even then it was patchy. Also it would be better if the luggage storage were secure - our bags were just left sitting in the corner of reception unattended all day.

Kitchen was good. Location was away from beach and center of tourist area so it was quiet.

The reception was digital. We had to ask the room service for toilet paper, but immediately they were on any request.

AC worked kinda funny , towels were old , kitchen had broken equipment I could not use . Overall price and remote location and the way room was didn’t match my expectations .
