Coeo Pod Hostel Beatas

Overall, it was a great experience, mainly thanks to the genuine care and kindness of the staff. The location was excellent, close to the city centre and within easy walking distance of most attractions. I also really liked some of the facilities, especially the common hangout area and the thoughtful amenities provided in the room. I would definitely recommend staying here

There was too much noise from outside, especially late at night due to the nearby clubs. In the mornings, construction work around the building also made it difficult to rest. Room cleaning should be offered for guests staying at least two nights. Since the bathrooms are shared, they should be cleaned and refreshed at least twice a day to maintain hygiene and comfort.

I had one night to stay in Málaga before getting an early morning flight (having returned from Granada) so thought I'd take a chance on this pod hostel - I must say I was pleasantly surprised!! I took a small single room and although definitely a small single, it has all you need - a comfortable single bed (at 180cm tall, my feet were touching the lower wall so maybe not suitable for those who are much taller unless they're happy to curl up), a cool and dark room to yourself, central location with pleasant shared areas and reasonably quiet (at least on a Thursday night). All very clean (toilets/showers included), a very helpful and pleasant staff (with one notable exception but I guess we all have our off days...). Although it's a long time since I last stayed in a hostel, this is probably the best and the most comfortable I've ever experienced - the pods are great and I would happily return for a night or two if ever back in Málaga!!

As mentioned above, the bed was a bit on the short side - okay for me at 180cm tall but my feet were touching the lower wall so could be a struggle for taller people. Also found the room surprisingly cool - stayed on the coolest day of the trip so that might have been a factor but I found the blanket to be just warm enough (which suited me grand but anything less would have left me cold)!

Very hard to fault this hostel. 24 hour reception, well run with friendly staff. Well equipped communal area with sofas,tables, books, games and a free coffee machine. The pods are predictably small (first time staying in one) and we had to repack our backpacks in the corridor, which happily our fellow guests understood. Good showers with plenty of hot water and always one free even at busy times. Located in a busy part of the old town with plenty of bars/restaurants. The street stays busy until early hours but heard nothing in our room (1). We didn't avail ourselves of the breakfast (extra charge) but it looked like a good selection and you can help yourself to what you want. Comfortable beds, crisp bedding and towels. Good wifi. We will stay here again.

Just a slight quibble. The only way to dry wet swimming costumes/sarongs was a tumble dryer (which would have destroyed them). We would have liked a drying area with a line.

Esta es la segunda vez que me quedo ahí y probablemente la última. Mi habitación era la 4 que daba justo al pasillo donde está el baño y la puerta de la habitación en general. El constante paso de la gente, visitas al baño, portazos, etc no me dejaron descansar. Además había música lejana de fondo que nunca paraba. Horroroso. La vez anterior estuve en la 11, que estaba al fondo y la verdad es que bien. Pero si te toca alguna en el pasillo principal, a no ser que seas el que haga ruido, no vas a descansar.
