The Space:
Welcome to Coastal Rose! Coastal Rose is an elegant 3BR, 2BA cottage conveniently located in Maravilla Resort and just across the street from beautiful Miramar Beach. The cottage features a spacious living area, 9-foot ceilings, a washer and dryer, and a fenced in private back yard with grill for enjoying the beautiful gulf breeze and warm sunny days. The entire house has just received a complete update with all new paint, furniture, beds, mattresses, linens, TVs, and appliances in a coastal neutral style to complement the natural surroundings of Florida's Emerald Coast. Cozy up with family and friends to watch a movie or big game on the brand new 70” TV in the living room! Families with children, or seniors will enjoy the convenience of a one-level property. The fully equipped kitchen with cookware and appliances gives everything needed to prepare meals for family and friends. The master bedroom offers a walk-in closet and ensuite bath with a recently upgraded garden tub with shower. There is also a guest bedroom with a queen bed, a guest bedroom with a full/full bunk bed with twin trundle, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, allowing this cottage to sleep 11 guests comfortably. Take a short walk. bike, or golf cart ride to one of the two community pools, your private beach access, or a friendly game of shuffleboard,basketball or tennis. Walk to Pompano Joe's when you don’t feel like cooking! Community access with gated entries at both Hwy 98 and Scenic Gulf Dr makes getting around town much easier.

Maravilla Resort in Miramar Beach is a charming 33-acre, gated community lined with cozy cottages featuring the largest private beach in the area — 2.5 acres of pristine beach, with seasonal beach chair service. Maravilla Resort is a relaxed resort community, and it is less crowded than the downtown Destin area. Maravilla Cottages within Maravilla Resort offer guests privacy and space, while still allowing access to the multiple amenities including a view of the Gulf of Mexico from the beachside pool at Maravilla Resort.  There is another large (seasonally heated) pool located by the clubhouse for a relaxing day of sun. Other amenities include tennis courts, a basketball court, hot tub, community grills, fitness room, and a shuffleboard deck.

Area Attractions:

Destin Commons, Silver Sands Outlets, and Grand Boulevard Town Center are a short drive to family-friendly shopping and dining, which is convenient to both Sandestin and Miramar Beach. Featured shops include Fusion Art Glass Gallery to Brooks Brothers Country Club, as well as several boutiques such as Hello Sunshine and Magnolia House. Dining options include Mitchell's Fish Market, P. F. Chang's China Bistro, and Cantina Laredo Gourmet Mexican Food. In 2013, Walton County’s first movie theater opened at Grand Boulevard’s Town Center – the state-of-the-art Boulevard 10 Movie Theater.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet.  Kayaks, paddleboards, or other flotation devices are strongly encouraged when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often.

The Neighborhood:
Maravilla is a beautiful beach community. We hope that a stay in our beach community will leave you feeling refreshed filled wih memories and dreams for future retreats! Please no laundry, beach towels etc. be placed over railings or hung where visible from the street. Bicycles and beach gear must be stored in the garage or storage closet. Please observe quiet time from 10pm-8am. Noise complaints and/or loud parties are generally handled by the Walton County Sheriff’s Department. Garbage pick-up days are Monday and Thursday. Garbage collection hours are between 6:00 AM & 10:00 AM Garbage must be bagged within the garbage container. Containers should not be brought to the street until the evening before pick-up (Sunday & Wednesday nights). Please place the container on the curb before you go to sleep. Containers should be returned to the can enclosure no later than noon the next day. (Monday & Thursday) Fines will occur for not following HOA garbage pickup rules.

Getting Around:
The golf cart is reserved for your use. The golf cart is allowed on Sandestin Property only (beach and bayside). The golf cart is not to be driven on any road with a speed limit above 25 mph and doing so could result in a ticket from the South Walton Sheriff. Please do not drive on the paths but instead on the right side of the road. There is a designated golf cart parking area next to the beach access. The golf cart needs to be charged during your stay. The charger is conveniently located on the wall next to the cart parking area. Simply plug in the charger in the back of the cart.
Very important:
Please do not drive the golf cart on low battery (2 bars).
If the battery is drained it will require towing to the dealership and towing charges will apply.
Please do not drink and drive the golf cart.
Please leave the golf cart key on the kitchen counter when you depart. If the key is lost there will be a $50 replacement fee. If any damage occurs to the cart, please report it immediately.

Other Things to Note:
The Sandestin Baytowne Marina, offers nightly boat slip rentals. This full-service marina features 233 slips accommodating vessels up to 140 feet, with 90% of the slips available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that while the residential property at 1944 Baytowne Loop does not have its own boat slip, the nearby Sandestin Baytowne Marina provides convenient options for boaters.
