Everything you needed was available; very clean'

The home is in a quiet street. Our host was incredibly communicative via text and also with the information folder in the home. In fact the owner encouraged us to check in early and leave late as the previous guests had checked out the day befroe we were to arrive. That generous spirit was much appreciated. We loved all the extra living spaces so we could have space when needed and congregate together too. The pool table and the additional fridge were extra bonuses. The owner is very generous in stocking the Nespresso machine! We made good use of the deck for reading, eating and games. The outdoor bbq/kitchen was very inviting although we didn't end up using it on this visit. I think the home even has beach towels and body surfing boards! Less than 2 minute drive had us at the stunning horse-shoe shaped Lilli Pilli beach. Think silky sand and mostly gentle waves, and water that is all the glorious shades of blue and green. With our golden retriever at her magnetic best, we made lots of new friends. The locals are really friendly. We also enjoyed morning coffees at Three66 Espresso Bar just 3 minutes drive or a walk away. And lunch AND dinner at the INCREDIBLE Smokey Dan's! This home was a beautiful canvas for us to fill with all the glorious brightness of our long weekend!

My only recommendation would be the addition of a couple of bean bags. We tended to all hang in the one space together and stretch out, and a couple of portable 'loungey' bean bags would have been great. But really, this place is so great for a family catchup or for a friends weekend away

The house was dog-friendly and able to accommodate a number of adults. The kitchen was very good with plenty of coffee pods available. The house was clean and tidy.

We would have preferred to have the BBQ on the balcony and the location, while not far from the beach, involved a steep walk which is difficult for anyone with mobility issues. There was also quite a noisy possum outside at night (not that anything can be done about that 🙂).

Spacious. Large en-suite. Nice outlook. Quiet. Nice deck area.

Poorly kept outdoor areas. Lawn not mowed. BBQ not connected and not as shown on advertisement. 30 minute walk to beach on very uneven track, not 5 minutes. Remotes not working. Had to buy batteries to get them going.
