“The King’s Retreat” A timeless Holden Beach gem located at 118 Salisbury with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms & outdoor shower. Main floor features an open concept living space with screened in porch & back deck with canal views. Upstairs the 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms provide space to sleep up to 8 (6 adults) Downstairs you will find an additional sleeping space for up to 4 (queen bed/ daybed w/trundle) along with a living area and kitchenette. Outside features a covered area with picnic table, grill and outdoor shower with hot water. Bring your boat, kayaks, paddle boards and fishing rods for your private dock (*boat lift unavailable*) with straight access to the intracoastal. Out the front door it’s a quick walk to the pier & beach access. The King’s Retreat is ready for you to enjoy!

Family of 9 plenty of space with access to the beach and canal. Well stocked kitchen with all the necessary appliances! (Some of the teflon cookware has seen better days ) but the toaster / toaster oven , griddle for pancakes and coffee machine were all clean and in good working condition! The front load Washer and dryer were nice! Cons a sectional couch or additional chairs/seating in the living room would be nice. Downstairs the couch recliners not working was a disappointment, and the bed definitely needs an upgrade (be ready to go to your chiropractor) if anyone other than a child sleeps on that mattress. All in all nice property! Enjoyed our stay! On The dock a ladder for accessing the canal would be nice also , and a foot washing station in the outdoor shower.

Myself and my adult children stayed at King's Retreat. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and serving pieces. The location was an easy walk to the beach. The kids went kayaking on the canals and the Intercostal. We enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the back deck, screened in porch and fishing from the dock. Definitely a house we would come back to.
