A repeat visit! We love coming to One Happy Turtle. A modest home with everything you may need at your finger tips. Our dogs loved sunning on the porch with the dog run attached and we loved having beach access right at our toes. Such a wonderful host, who thinks of everything for you. Ready to book for our 3rd visit next year!

It’s not the fanciest place on Holden but its close to the beach and air conditioning to sleep in. Perfect for us! The owner really has thought and of everything if you forget something at home, I’d bet it is already at the house for you.

We have rented from VRBO for years and never stayed in a house so well equipped for guests. The owner was very responsive and left us a very thoughtful gift basket! There wasn't one thing we looked for that we couldn't find to make our stay perfect. Access to the beach was visible from the porch. The proximity to the grocery store was minutes away. The neighborhood was fantastic for a daytime walk toward the sound. I can't say enough great things about the property, location and owner!

We loved our stay at the Happy Turtle! Great place for family and pets. The cleaning crew was awesome (house was sparkling) and our guest contact Ms. Barbara was absolutely wonderful. This was the best stocked house we've been to on vacation - a lot of thought and effort went into making sure we had everything we needed, particularly since we cooked at home all week (one night of takeout). They had everything we needed! Easy walk to beach (grandparents in their 70's and knee replacements had no trouble walking to the beach). They loved the house as did our teenage sons!Only complaint is that the week went by too fast.We cannot wait to come back to the Happy Turtle again!
