La Ribera de Pría

We stayed in this family run hotel on our camino to Santiago de Compostela (we took alternative, E9). We liked it very much. It was the most affordable place in this very beautiful area. The breakfast were continental with nothing lacking. I recommend.

Very pleasant stay in this rural location in a nicely restored historic building. Great garden for pre-dinner drinks and a nice restaurant. Enjoyed the walks along the coast. Run by a charming, friendly couple who made our stay very agreeable. Fascinating furniture and memorabilia in the house! Ample parking and great views of the surrounding area.

Asturias tiene lugares que te roban el corazón, y el Hotel Rural La Ribera de Pría es, sin duda, uno de ellos. La paz que se respira aquí no es solo silencio; es una sensación de hogar que te envuelve desde el primer minuto. ​Elena y Enrique son el alma de este sitio. Su hospitalidad es auténtica, de esa que te hace sentir especial. Tuvieron un gesto que nos dejó sin palabras: al llegar, nos sorprendieron con un cambio a una suite superior, superando con creces la reserva estándar que teníamos. Esos detalles no son casualidad, son el reflejo de cómo cuidan cada rincón y, sobre todo, a sus huéspedes. ​La habitación ha sido nuestro refugio: cómoda, preciosa y con una calma que te permite desconectar del mundo. Despertar aquí es un lujo, especialmente cuando te espera ese desayuno tan mimado y, sobre todo, sus mermeladas caseras de manzana… ¡están increíbles! ​La ubicación es un regalo: tener la playa ahí mismo y poder pasear por el pueblo es el plan perfecto para vivir la esencia asturiana. Todo, absolutamente todo, ha sido de 10. Gracias, Elena y Enrique, por hacer de nuestra estancia un recuerdo mágico. Volveremos, seguro.

Por comentar algo del ambiente, la humedad es muy protagonista, algo totalmente propio de esta zona de Asturias y de estar tan próximos a la playa. Se nota en el ambiente y en los textiles, pero entendemos que es parte de la experiencia de dormir en un sitio tan privilegiado y natural.

We absolutely loved everything: the location, the house, and the hosts. Even though we only stayed for one night, we felt right at home. The hosts have created a place that feels warm and full of character while still being really comfortable. The area around the house is charming and great for a walk. There are two beautiful beaches nearby, and the walk to them is really nice. Breakfast was delicious too. We just wish we could have stayed longer.
