Die Lage und der Blick sind einmalig, ruhig und ländlich. Ausgesprochen sauber und sehr hochwertig eingerichtet. Eignet sich unserer Meinung nach als Adults only - für Kinder aufgrund der recht strengen Regeln eher ungeeignet.

Es gibt viele Regeln (verständlich, weil manche Gäste nicht mitdenken); das zweite Zimmer wird zwar mit in die qm eingerechnet, kann jedoch nur gegen Gebühr voll genutzt werden (wobei wir Schrank und Stellfläche nutzen durften). Die Vorhänge an der Tür sind umständlich, es fehlt ein Fliegengitter an der Terrassentür und etwas Putzutensilien wie Duschabzieher oder Staubsauger und Reinigungsmittel (die wir nicht auch noch kaufen oder mitschleppen wollen). Für künftige Gäste gut zu wissen: die Eigentümerin lässt nichts in der Wohnung, bietet aber an, dass man sie nach Salz, Pfeffer oder so fragen kann. Am besten also alles mitbringen, was man braucht.

A lovely clean apartment in an exceptionally beautiful location. The views from the apartment were breathtaking as was the whole of Asturias. Walking in the Picos de Europa was a particular highlight.

We booked this particular property due to its rural location and the advertised promise of peace and quiet with only the sound of the sea and cow bells to be heard. As this was our first holiday abroad since the pandemic we paid more than we usually would for the opportunity to get away from it all. Unfortunately, this is not what we experienced. After arriving late in the evening, we were awoken at 8.45 the next morning by the sound of machinery digging through rocks due to a house build on the neighbouring plot. After asking the owners about this, we were initially informed that it would last a few days and that they had no prior knowledge that the work would be taking place. This was not the case and the noise continued for the entirety of our 11 day stay from 8.45 until 7pm. As a result, we had to leave the property early in the morning and return after 7pm once the drilling had stopped. Fortunately, Asturias is a beautiful place to visit, however had we been made aware in advance of the possibility of building work we would have cancelled as this is not the holiday we paid for. We would also have welcomed an honest conversation about the length of the works when we arrived so that we could have considered whether to stay or find alternative accommodation. The extent of the noise prevented us from using any of the facilities during the day and we simply had to use it as a base from which to explore which was less than ideal. The property is also advertised as a two bedroom apartment which is another reason it was chosen. However, on arrival we were told that we could not use the second bedroom which came as a surprise. More detailed information about this needs to be provided up front.
