About this house rental
Located in a small, charming village, this house stands out for something very hard to find even in the north: an absolutely privileged location where the Cantabrian Sea and the Picos de Europa come together in a single panoramic view. You don’t just come here to stay—you come to experience the landscape.
The house is situated in a very authentic rural area, surrounded by nature, meadows, and cows, yet at the same time in a well-maintained village with high-quality homes. A perfect balance between the wild and the extraordinary.
One of the house’s greatest attractions is its garden, which faces two directions—a rare feature. To the north, it offers unobstructed views of the Cantabrian Sea, and to the south, views of the Picos de Europa. This allows you to enjoy the outdoors all day long, choosing between sun and shade at any given moment.
In addition, you can easily reach some of the most beautiful beaches in the area. They’re about a 15-minute walk or less than a 5-minute drive away. Among them are Cuevas del Mar and San Antonio Beach, a pristine beach accessible only on foot that retains a very special charm.
Part of the Northern Way of St. James passes right in front of the house; it’s considered one of the most scenic routes along the entire coast. This allows you to enjoy spectacular walks or bike rides right from your doorstep, without needing to take the car.
Just a few minutes away is the village of Nueva, which offers all the necessary amenities, including restaurants, supermarkets, and a local atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to combine the tranquility of the village with convenience.
The house is designed to be comfortable in the summer for groups of up to 7 people. It features a washing machine, dryer, and a large dishwasher. It stands out especially for its natural light—a rarity in homes in the north—and features high-speed internet that allows for seamless remote work. It’s a home designed to be lived in and enjoyed as a group, with comfort as a top priority.
The Llanes area is one of the most special destinations in northern Spain. Here, some of the country’s most spectacular beaches combine with unique mountain landscapes, impressive cliffs, and beautifully preserved natural surroundings. In just a few minutes, you can go from swimming in the sea to being deep in the mountains or hiking through forests and meadows. It’s the perfect destination both for those looking to unwind and for those who want to stay active.
In addition, the area is renowned for its cuisine, featuring traditional cider houses, fresh fish, seafood, and traditional Asturian dishes. There are also many charming villages, coastal trails, and lesser-known spots that set it apart from other, more crowded destinations.
We’ve been spending our summers here for two generations and know the area like the back of our hand. For guests staying at the house, we’d be delighted to recommend unique and little-known spots, as well as help you plan a personalized itinerary based on what you’re looking for: hidden beaches, hiking trails, restaurants, or special experiences.
