Thoroughly recommend this hotel if you visit

The locations was perfect. Right near the main part of town and bridge. Beautiful old hotel with a wonderful view. Christian was an incredibly friendly host and tried his best to make us welcome. The food was very good at both evening dinner and breakfast.

Nice hotel, beautiful views on the river

The location is great, staff very friendly and polite. The A la carte menu for breakfast was a very nice touch, dinner at their restaurant was also delicious. Bed is comfy, quiet during the night.

The pillows should be changed (they are too thin). No AC, so the rooms at the top floor can be hot.

Wonderful hotel in beautiful location

Room was lovely and airy with a wonderful view of the Rhine and the immediate area. 2 minutes to the cobbled streets of the old town with its preserved buildings and historic atmosphere. The manager and all the staff were charming and helpful going beyond expectation.

With a few adjustments this will be a wonderful place to stay.

Breakfasts were good, but the cooked options were mostly eggs . We would have appreciated more cooked options without eggs. The location on the water provided a lovely setting.

Bed mattresses were firmly comfortable. The pillows, however, while limp and lacking support, also felt as if they had huge quill pens inside. The mirror above the sink was too high and the light around it caused a glare. The sink and counter were poorly designed. The counter was wooden with a bowl shaped sink. The handle, was placed on the back splashing, causing water damage to the counter from dripping hands every time it is turned on and off.

Nice hotel in a beautiful location

Breakfast was excellent and so was the staff. Location was beautiful.

There is no elevator so if you have heavy luggage you have to ask for help. Staff was kind and helpful though.

Beautiful hotel in scenic Stein on Rhine

Ribecka, owner and host met us on arrival and was delightful and very helpful. We were assisted w our luggage and provided everything needed including parking.

A very pleasant stay in a beautiful location.

Excellent location and a very comfortable bed. good sized room but not the one pictured when booking (with the bath). The owners were very kind was I wasn’t feeling too good and the made us hot lemon drinks and the chef even made the best chicken soup with fresh ingredients. We ate in the restaurant and the food was truly excellent.

No Lift. our room was on the 3rd floor so luggage has to be carried up. Fortunately one of the waiters carried my bag up. No safe in the room but we did feel our things were secure in the room. Breakfast was served on the terrace and the first morning it felt very cold and everyone was wearing their coats. I think they could make better use of the lovely restaurant on the first floor for breakfast. Although the second day was better and we sat outside for breakfast.

Perfect location

Ideal location in town and along the river, next to the boats landing stage. Its restaurant on the terrace overlooking the Rhine River. Very nice buffet breakfast, very pleasant and helpful waitress. Comfortable room and beds.

Old bathroom which desperately needs renovation. Restaurant, at dinner, service by one of the lady waitresses not at all up to standard. Due to the fact that it is an old house, it must be mentioned that there are only stairs, no easy access to guests with walking difficulties.

Wir haben 3 schöne Tage hier verbracht und können das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Grosszügige und schöne Suite mit Sicht auf den Rhein, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, einfaches aber feines (und auch für Vegis geeignetes) Frühstücksbüffet, super Lage im schönen Städtchen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

El personal super amable

El personal, la comodidad de la habitación y la ubicación.

No tenía ascensor, hacía frío en la habitación y hubo un día que no había nadie del personal porque tenían el día libre. Ellos fueron super amables, de hecho me llevaron a la estación de tren y me avisaron que no habría nadie al día siguiente. Y lo entiendo porque era temporada baja, pero para el precio que pagué no era lo que esperaba.
