We enjoyed our stay. Close to everything

It was quiet and comfortable

Needed a little more attention to cleaning. The door lock needs repair The staff was not very helpful

Convenient location, good for a night or two.

The location was excellent. Walkable to restaurants and to the beach.

The electronic door had a code that was 10 digits, impossible to get it open so had to call and use the lock box. Amenities were pretty basic.

A great place to explore, with many good eating places, and activities.

The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and thoughfully appointed. The view to the ocean was lovely, as was being close to the water, shops and eating places.

The person at reception could have provided a site plan, to better indicate how far the walk was to my apartment, with my bags, having had to let the taxi go, being told the room was not ready. It was a long walk, in the scheme of things, in the heat and with my luggage: It made for not a good start.

Great spot

Wicked location. Bit short on functionality. Microwave was only cooking facility. But plenty space and real comfy. One of the lampshades kept falling off. Parking is first come, first served, which worked out well for me, but nay not for others.f

The room was very clean was quiet very relaxing . The location was great its on the strip per say.

The parking was a doozy for me . There is not enough stall for the area. You have to park street side or a parking lot over from the place next to a tennis court that has no lighting .

A great personal getaway for me; had everything I needed including a great location!

Liked the kitchen stuff (plates, cups, knives and tea kettle) Liked the mirror, the bed that raises and lowers The ceiling fans were great. Lots to f hangers helped that there wasn’t a closet I found the patio table and chair which I used inside for eating and writing.

Wished the hot tub had worked the whole time I was there. I wanted more light above the kitchen sink (which was the only sink, also my bathroom sink) A/C was noisy so I had it off most of the time

It was a very enjoyable stay. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

We did not take part with the breakfast. Location was very good for seeing things and being right on the ocean. We liked the the trolley availability and the island bus service.

I don’t think this is a good place to stay

the location is good

They kicked us out of the room at 10:30am at the checkout date, because they require us to leave at 10:00 AM while majority hotels and airbnb will let you stay till 11 am or 12 am . The house keeping comes sharp at 10am, and we start to pack and then the management comes with body guard ask us to move out our stuff immediately. we move our stuff out of the door and packing there. So if you have any chance to choose a normal hotel please do, don’t choose this so called vacation home

We enjoyed our stay (owners of our unit are trying) but stairs and parking were an issue.

The location is great. The parking situation is terrible. Our unit was clean and well furnished. The steps needed to get to our unit were a problem. The unit was quiet. The hot tub was lukewarm and only half the jets were working. Would we stay here again? Maybe. Hard to tell if the pluses outweighed the minuses.

Front desk person was not really helpful and also often not there. Parking is ridiculous.

Uncomfortable chairs. Had to waste my time on taking towels and sheets to a laundry. Not enough clean towels for the length of our stay. No mop to clean the floors.

the over all property was great, the grounds are well kept, the place is nice and quiet even though you are close to the popular street ..

we knew it wasn't a full kitchen, however i was really surprised that there wasn't a anything to cook with except the out door BBQ. I thought there would have been at least a hot plate so something boil water or fry with. Nothing for us to even use on the BBQ( not cooking sheets or BBQ safe cook ware.. ) it made for having to eat out for any hot meals more then we expected.. unless we wanted to go buy BBQ safe cookware. In speaking with other guests that were in the same type of unit, they all had at least a hot plate to cook with stove top

Great location. Significant difference between quality of different units.

The location was great with many options for restaurants close by. The 2 barbecues were immaculately cleaned daily,This hotel have units all privately owned and we were travelling with others who had rented units much better equipped than ours was for a comparable price. There was no storage space for clothes, no beach chairs, no cook top, very old small fridge(took 3 days to freeze ice cubes) and lacked any basic things like a salad bowl. The bed was great, comfortable with an electric option to raise the top. The outside light wasn’t working (dark / dangerous) after 3 times informing the hotel it never did get fixed, they did change the light bulb, but required an electrician to address the problem

No bathroom to use while at the pool—had to go back to your unit, no ability to store luggage if you have a late flight leaving as is often the case. Not much effort in problem solving issues.

The property was well located and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. Unit 219 was well set up and very clean

As this was a private unit it was managed by a property company remotely. we had arrived early on a flight and the front desk refused to take our luggage and check in wasn’t until 4pm. when I rang the property managers they were unable to communicate with the owners or the front desk. it was only another owner who helped us whereby she was able to contact the local real estate managing the property to obtain permission for an early check-in

Clean and comfortable stay in a great location.

The location was great for a first-time visitor to Kona like me. We were right in the middle of everything in downtown Kona within walking distance to a lot of places, including the little farmer's market where we got a lot of great local produce. The room was clean and comfortable, and the balcony overlooking the pool was very nice to hang out on and dry all our wet stuff. Having a mini fridge, microwave, dishes, and utensils was very nice. The pool area and grounds were nicely kept. The WiFi also worked great the whole time we were there, and it wasn't one of those annoying ones where you have to keep logging in. The on-site laundry room with change and detergent vending machines also came in handy.

The room could've used an armoire or some more hooks/hangers where we could hang our clothes. The 3 hooks on the living room wall weren't quite enough. The patio door is old and the lock mechanism was finicky; we figured it out but that could use an update. Also, if you get back after about 7pm, parking on the property was hard to come by. There was overflow parking on the main road close to the building, so we never had to park too far away, but trying to back out from those spots on to the rather busy main road was kind of a pain.

Brilliant spot, clean and comfortable

Location, clean and tidy, comfortable bed.

Check in could have been better. After a good 17 hours of flying and transit, we arrived at 11.00am. Went for a walk, came back at 2.00pm and although the room was ready for us, we weren't allowed access. Being almost 7 months pregnant, I was exhausted and although I understand the check in time was 4.00pm, it wouldn't have hurt to grant us access. The WIFI password was incorrect and wasn't rectified till the following day (I run my own business) and there was no hairdryer although it said there was. The operations manager was good though and did her best to get it all sorted. Besides the initial arrival and hiccups, the place itself was really good.
