Very pleasant
Pool area clean and gardens very well maintained. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant has reasonable food. It’s also peaceful especially considering how busy the area is. You can hear some motorbikes go by but it didn’t keep us awake.
Only thing we didn’t like was that the bathroom has no ventilation so it smelled like mould when we arrived. But it seems to be a common thing in Bali. The room was an oven due to how it’s built, but the air conditioner worked well. I think the experience matched the price.

Nice location looking over rice terrace
It is like staying in a wooden garden shed, there are no windows so incredibly dark, I’m not sure who decided on a design with no windows but it’s not pleasant.

This is my 3rd times staying here. Honest review:
- The location / The Area: I love this area because it's (supposed to be) "quiet" and 10 minutes from Canggu with the scooter. But... you do need a scooter if you stay there.
- The rice fields in front of the bungalow is relaxing.
- The staff is nice and smiling.
- The desk size in the room
- The bed, the comfy mattress, the mosquito net around the bed
- The AC
- Appliances:
- No fan to fight the mosquitoes outside on the terrace, so can't really chill there for sunset; I requested one but they don't seem to have fans in Bali 🤷🏻♂️ You have AC in the room, but the room is too dark to chill inside and the whole point of the bungalow is to chill on the terrace; which you can't do without spraying yourself a ton of mosquito repellent. Seriously a fan doesn't cost more than the price of the room per night and it would make such a huge difference!
- no shampoo/soap/shower gel, no hairdryer
- you just get 2 towels
- sink is tiny with no plug, can't do laundry in it.
- Noise:
- Cleaners are very loud when cleaning the rooms, they'll wake you up.
- Cleaners want you out of the room by 9 am so they can clean it; they'll bang on your door "House cleaning!" if you don't 😂
- The area is under construction (roadworks, new buildings), yes gentrification is happening there too :( You'll here the machineries.
- Farmers from the rice fields will start at 8 am until 8 pm. They work hard, but that also means you can't chill without their tools running in the background.
- Room:
- The room is very dark and the only way to make it brighter is to open the shutter (there's no window, there's only a shutter, same as the door) and the main door during the day; which you can't do because the mosquitoes get inside otherwise.
- I had a gecko running around at night and pooping on the floor. I mean, I really don't mind the gecko but it was loud lol.
- The smell. They do a good job hiding it, but you can smell a bit of damp/moisture.
- The price per night:
- with the area getting gentrified and all these new villas and buildings getting built; I think you start to see better alternatives than a bungalow at a cheaper price.
Anyway, I'll still be back for a couple nights every now and then.

We liked that it was a balinese style building and overlooked fields and had a small but perfect pool.Close to all the places we needed to visit.

A wonderful guest house.
The sound of cascading water on the rice field infront of the room was amazing to wake up to after an overnight rain.
The staff is fantastic.
Location was ideal for me:
-very short drive to (black sand) Munggu beach and local restaurants
-shirt drive to Pereneran beach
-not too close to Canggu
-most nights were wonderfully quiet nights (while the others were interrupted by neighbourhood control and things out if the guest house's control).
-nice bathroom and shower
I highly recommend this place, but if I had to criticize:
-no natural light if you keep the door closed to keep mosquitos out and the artificial light is also poor
-not a great place for solo travelers to meet new people
-some places with a similar price have breakfast included

Lovely overall
Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, lovely view and nice and quiet.
Rooms need a fan and also mugs to drink from rather than the glasses because the tea is too hot to drink 😂 offering breakfast would be nice too.

Nice and cozy place in Munggu
Very cozy place in Munggu (15 min by scooter from Canggu). In 7 min by scooter you can go to a nice beach to see the sunset. It is near the center of Munggu where there are warungs and mini marts. The place is very clean (and daily cleaned by the staff) and each bungalow has a balcony facing the rice fields. The staff is kind and helpful.
We found 2 cockroaches but it is inevitable being in the middle of nature and rice fields

Lovely joglo close to beach
My favourite place in Seseh. I used to live here for 3 months and every time coming back. Joglos are surrounded by rice-fields, just 1min moto drive or 15min walk to one of most beautiful tranquil beaches, lovely places to eat around. Room is always impeccably clean, staff is friendly and supportive. Wifi is also great for work. Nice pool. Thank you

It has a great pool area and communal kitchen.
I prefer the location as I like it quieter.
The sun really hits the rooms and the aircon isn’t very strong so if you work online or spend a lot of time in your room it would be hard.

The view is beautiful. Location is also ok, it’s 10 min drive to the busy streets. Could have been a great accommodation.
Wouldn’t recommend it because the airco is barely working. Most of the time it was hotter in the house than outside. Staff said it was normal. Also the towels were covered in stains.

view on the field, proximity to the nature, villa’s stuffis nice,a kitchen and a fridge if you need it
kettle in our villa, adding bottles of water every time after cleaning
it was very very dark in our villa (in the room and in the bathroom too), so if we closed the window (just a frame without glass by the way) we had no any light at all even at midday. it was the most disadvantage.
Also the villa wasn’t isolated from the sounds outside, so we heard every drunk neighbour at 4 am and the field plowing machine at 7 am)))
And our conditioner didn’t work well, it worked with strange noise and cooled the villa enough only in the evening or in the morning, but not at midday when the weather is the hottest.

Nice and comfy
Our villa was very good! it was confortable and quiet. The 2 bedrooms were super comfortable, the bed was big and the bathroom was nice and clean. Both spaces have lots of space.
The villa has a kitchen and a pool and felt super nice to be there, even though we did not use them so much. The location was perfect: in the quiet area of Seseh but very near the beach and Perenenan beach.
The bedroom was a little dark and the AC was not so cool during the day.

Exceptional
Highly recommended for people who want to withdrawl from the packed area of Canggu while still be able to access Canggu beaches and night life. Driving to Canggu with a scooter taked about 15-20min, Gojek also serves this area (Munggu) easily. Cindy was really helpful with guests needs and always has a smile on her face. Bungalows are flawless and seem to be rather new. I would definitely stay here again!

Wir hatten einn sehr schönen und ruhigen Aufenthalt
Sehr komfortable und schöne Bungalows. Eine schöne und ruhige Lage mit Blick auf Reis/Bohnenfelder. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sauberer und angenehmer Pool. Neues Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen.
Es gibt leider keinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. 2 Jahre zuvor, konnte man seine Getränke etc. vorne an der Küche lagern, das geht jetzt leider nichtmehr.
Das Restaurant öffnet leider erst um punkt 12 Uhr Mittags, es gibt leider kein Frühstück.
