Location! An easy 2min walk from the start of the Royal Mile and a bus stop close by. Room for parking. The washing machine was very handy for the 5 people staying. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and coffee machine. Plenty of seating in the lounge room. If you’re sharing the cost with a group it works out value wise.
I couldn’t find a clothes horse (if there was one). Would be handy.

Upon arrival to the house, we were surprised with a loaded refrigerator with local eggs, bread, and milk. It it was very much appreciated. There was five ladies that stayed at the house and we were all comfortable with our own space, comfortable beds, and just overall great atmosphere having an ability to use a washer and a dryer really helped out. I would highly recommend this location. It was perfect in every way.
The only thing I didn’t like was that we only booked it for two nights. It was definitely one of those places you could stay long-term comfortably and there’s so much to do on the island. It was a perfect location to leave from.

3 bedrooms, enough space for a big family
The house was really cold. I tried to reach the owner and asked them to increase the heat, since they control it, but they replied late the next day. They increased the temperature for a few hours, then returned to the same cold temperature. I have a 10-month-old baby and kids, and it was an unpleasant time for us. The rent was so expensive and the house was overrated. Also, slow internet was another issue.
