Location. The location is only a 10-minute walk to the sea, and to the bus and train stations. It is a 5-15 minute walk to two Marches, restaurants, bakeries and cafes. Overnight it is a very quiet location, good for sleeping, especially if you can keep the windows and shutters closed . The washer and dishwasher are good. The shower was good. For two people the space is adequate for short stays.
We were not provided with any proper hand or bath towels. We were there 10 nights and were left with 2 red pieces of material comprised of 80% polyester and 20% polymede to use as towels for 10 days! Every other apartment we have ever rented in Spain, Portugal or France has provided us with at least eight towels for the two of us, if we were staying for a week or more —-four hand towels, and four bath towels of good cotton quality. We had to go out and buy our own good quality towels. In addition we were left with one tea towel in the kitchen, and we had to buy more of those. In addition, every other apartment we’ve ever rented, if we stayed for more than a week, we received a second set of bedding . We wanted to cook breakfast one morning, eggs, but even after following the directions that were left in the file in the apartment, we could not get the top of the stove to heat above Lo, so we cooked our eggs in the microwave. One evening, we wanted to have a glass of wine with some food we had brought back to the apartment and found that there was ONE small wine glass. In addition, we were not very fond of the dishes on hand, they are all glass for the most part . We did manage to find two small glass bowls for our cereal in the morning. If there had been four people, I don’t know what they would have used. Also the small kettle holds only enough water for 2 cups of tea, so again if there were more than two people, you would have to make the tea twice. There was a broom, but no shovel to pick up the sweepings. And for longer stays beyond two or three days, there is very little space for folded clothing. There is ample space in the closet to hang clothing. There is a drying rack stored in the closet, which you can use after you wash your laundry. If the weather is dry, you can put that rack outdoors right next to the apartment otherwise it has to stay in the apartment. There appears to be a small leak under the sink in the shower room.

A bit more information on possible parking areas would have helped. The keysafe instructions only arrived by email on the day or day before. On picking up the keys the three steps to get into the apartment could have been clearer.

So much potential
5 minutes away from the train and bus station, but also from the lovely market, and less than 15 minutes away from the beach.
The apartment is big for French lodgings, and you can see the owners really invested in it. The furniture and the overall reconditioning is beautiful (I loved the glass panel that separates the bedroom from the living room). The pretty pots and plates and cups make eating in a pleasure. Bed is really comfortable.

I can definitely see how Suite Lamartine can be a perfect option in the heat of summertime. But the fact that the windows are facing north and the walls are quite tall is not so great in colder seasons. I visited in March, when nights were still chilly, and I found the house to be COLD. It hadn't been pre-warmed and the air conditioning was very inefficient, so I spent most of my time indoors wrapped in a blanket that I thankfully found in the closet.
I realized I've been taking for granted the little things that make one feel instantly at home away from home, and that owners leave behind for you, like coffee, soap or detergent for the dishwasher and the washing machine. I found none at Suite Lamartine, but hey, at least there was olive oil ^_^

Goede bestemming !
Alles algemeen goed, alles wat nodig is, is voorhanden. Dicht bij het station, strand, centrum en supermarkt.
Als je iets wat je weg kent sta je op 10 min wandelen op het strand van st Raphael of Fréjus.
Het gezin boven met hun 3 kinderen maken HEEL veel lawaai tot heel laat savonds.
Moeilijke communicatie bij intrede / aankomst.

Ruim appartement
Het was een ruim gerenoveerd appartement in een oud gebouw, ruikt wat muffig. In het appartement was een goed en schoon wasmachine, koelkast en vaatwasser aanwezig. Er is gedacht aan kleine details. Er lag een wastablet, vaatwastablet, schoonmaakmiddel, vaatdoek, zeepje, koffie klaar, wat heel attent is! Goede wifi, smart tv aanwezig. Goed verblijf voor een vakantie.
Het was wel gehorig en wat muffig appartement. Ik kon de buren horen praten, hun tv, auto’s/motors die voorbij rijden. Desondanks was het na 12-en wel rustig, waardoor je toch nog wat nachtrust krijgt.

Très bon emplacement et belle surface, mais quelques déconvenues
L’emplacement proche du centre de saint Raphaël / frejus.
La climatisation agréable, l’agencement de l’appartement.
La douche était bouché à notre arrivée (écoulement difficile tout le long du séjour), une odeur d’ordure provenant du hall / petit dégagement extérieur s’est fait sentir pendant la durée de notre séjour.
