PORTO SERENO apartments

Best hotel on my travels! Outstanding in every way and good value. Great location in the old town. Modern, clean, spacious, balcony and bright - plenty of windows. There's a lift. Highly recommend.

Nothing

Pros: The mattress is the most comfortable mattress I've had in years at any kind of hotel or apartment! Staff is very responsive on the Booking.com app - I was a bit confused by the parking situation and they replied immediately which really helped. Good amount of space in the apartment, very strong hair dyer which was great, and the location is a 10/10 extremely convenient to restaurants pharmacy etc. Worth noting: parking is 15 EUR per night, CASH ONLY, they don't specify this but have you pay cash at the end.

Cons: you can hear EVERYTHING through the walls. Conversations, plumbing, a sneeze, saying goodnight, and the shows other apartments are watching are all things I heard. You have to get lucky with neighbors or be someone who is not bothered by this. Also the wifi didn't work - was able to connect to the network, but no internet connection. Checkout was a little haphazard - instructions were never given, I went to put the keys back and someone who works there saw and popped into help but it felt like a chance interaction.

The apartment was nice, very clean and stylish, beautiful for the eye, obviously renewed recently. The area is quiet, nice view from the small terrace, old city is in 4 minutes walk. Would definitely recommend staying and stay again in Sibenic.
