The Cabin:
Second Fiddle is a 3-bedroom log cabin set on a large private lot, secluded enough to feel away from it all but only minutes from the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg parkways. The open great room features soaring ceilings, wood floors, a stone fireplace, and big windows facing the Smokies. The fully updated kitchen has granite counters, stainless steel appliances, a wooden dining table, and breakfast bar seating. Downstairs, the game room is a full second hangout space, complete with its own living area, mini-fridge, dining table, arcade, air hockey, and foosball. Outside, multi-level decks (covered and uncovered) wrap the cabin in valley views, with the hot tub waiting on one of them.

Myself, my 3 kids (ages 7,9,13) and my senior parents all stayed for 2 nights. Place was extremely clean, hot tub easy to use, game room was a hit with the kids, easy entry and had everything we needed. Only complaints are door locks were kinda hard to figure out (but I know that’s to keep bears out) and WiFi/service was spotty so there were some times when we couldn’t watch anything on the TVs or use our phones. But I guess that’s the point of going deep into the woods.

We absolutely loved the cabin especially for our two kiddos! Drive up had some narrow spots but overall it wasn’t bad. Very peaceful, clean, and communication with the hosts was wonderful.Side note: we thought the bottom level door wouldn’t lock but you just have to lift up on the handle to lock it.

We've stayed at this cabin twice and loved it both times! Very spacious and quiet. Great for families! Plus bear sightings both times.
