Lazy Bear is a luxurious 4-bedroom king-suite cabin, each with a private romantic ensuite bath and in-room Jacuzzi tub. Nestled in lush forest in the heart of The Great Smoky Mountains, just 10 mins from Pigeon Forge and 15 mins from Gatlinburg, This spacious two-story cabin accommodates up to 12 guests and is packed with entertainment options, including a hot tub, arcade-style driving game, multicade arcade game, fire pit, pool table, Foosball, and a fully-equipped kitchen.
LIVING ROOM – Custom wood carvings surround you in this stunning mountain cabin! The hand-carved forest scene on the cabin front doors opens to a warm knotty pine living room complete with a large HD TV hidden behind hand-carved doors situated atop a beautiful stone gas fireplace. The space is perfect for entertaining with the kitchen flowing into the living room and dining room with exquisite details like hand-carved posts featuring mountain animals. This space is ready for you to relax in the plush leather furniture and enjoy all the mountains have to offer including the two decks off the dining room, both with wooden rocking chairs. One deck offers a beautiful view of the valley and the other is a view of the forest. Fireplace season is from October through March.
RECREATION ROOM – Your entertainment haven awaits! This expansive room opens onto a large deck with a hot tub and a wooden table with benches. Inside, you’ll find:
• Pool table
• Arcade-style driving game (free to play)
• Foosball table
• Multicade arcade game with 60 classic video games
• Game cabinet with assorted board games
• HD TV with cable service
• Stone-stacked gas fireplace
• Wet bar with mini-fridge
• 1 full-size futon
• Outdoor deck with hot tub, wooden table, and benches

BEDROOMS – The cabin sleeps up to 12 guests with 4 knotty pine bedrooms each with their own TV, shower, bathroom, and luxurious spa tub. There are also 2, full-size, futons and a queen-size pull-out sofa. Each bedroom is appointed with beautiful cabin-themed quilts, hand-crafted log frame beds, and cozy comforters.
Lower floor (sleeps 5 people):
• Bedroom with 1 king bed
• Bedroom with 1 king bed
• Full-size futon bed
• Both bedrooms have a full bathroom and luxurious spa tub

BALCONY / DECKS - 4 Decks each with wood rocking chairs, one with a hot tub and outdoor dining table. The upper deck has rocking chairs and a valley view to relax and enjoy the Smoky Mountain National Park.
DINING ROOM – Beautiful wooden cabin dining room with 8-person custom log dining room table. There is a bar top in the kitchen with 2 bar stools and two decks, immediately off the dining room with rocking chairs and tables
KITCHEN – Well appointed with all the major utensils, silverware, dishes, glasses, and cookware needed for you to create & serve gourmet meals. Electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc.
ROADS LEADING TO THE CABIN - The cabin is located on nice, paved mountain roads, but as with all of the Smoky Mountain roads, certain areas are narrow and steep at points. You shouldn’t have an issue with any standard car or truck, it’s nothing that would be a safety issue in our opinion outside of the winter months. During the winter months, we strongly recommend trip insurance, since there are no refunds for snow and ice. In difficult winter or storm-related weather situations, there can be delays in cleaning and check-in pending road conditions which can be outside of our control.

• Only 5.5 miles away from the entrance to Dollywood/Splash Country!
• Less than 6 miles away from this cabin is the beautiful Gatlinburg Community Center - a complex with an indoor swimming pool, basketball court, ping pong, bowling alley, weight room, and showers. For a very reasonable fee, visitors are welcome to take advantage of this beautiful complex.

• We provide a set of starter supplies to allow you to get settled when you arrive. They include 2 trash bags, 2 dishwasher pods, a paper towel roll, a small liquid dish soap bottle, toilet paper, a small bottle of shampoo, body lotion, body wash, conditioner, and a soap bar for each bathroom, towels, and bed linens. They are designed so that you are all set when you arrive but not to last the entire trip.
• Our close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park means there is lots of wildlife in our area - black bears, deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, coyotes, foxes, and more! Black bears visit the cabin often in Spring, Summer, and Fall. You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of these residents while enjoying the view from the deck. We also contract regular monthly pest services which treats for all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given the proximity of the cabin to the park, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up and have found it is rare to come across anything like this.

The cabin was nice and clean and what we expected! There was plenty for the kids to do with the gaming area and hot tub. We loved the fire pit area with the swings and our host Mendel was super nice and responsive. The driveway is a little tricky for multiple cars but overall a great getaway.

Clean, bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Bathrooms were equipped with plenty of towels for large family. Jacuzzi was nice and as described. Beds were very hard, pillows and bedding were nice. Kitchen is small and lacking in cookware for large families. As the property sleeps 12, I was suprised by the small fridge and lack of any large cookware. The road to get the property is extremely steep, challenging, and not suitable for any low clearance vehicles or anyone nervous about driving on narrow mountain roads. There are three flights of outdoor stairs to the main floor. There are at least four other cabins very close to this one. Several of the amenities did not work or were spotty at best. The internet worked only occasionally, even after restarting the modem as directed several times. Had issues with all the tvs getting anything streaming was a challenge even after following all the directions, three we never were able to get anything on. One of the jetted tubs did not work, which was a bummer since it was kind of a one shot deal with the amount of hot water available. The host was available when the a/c died, they provided us with fans and fans that you could put ice packs in. They were able to fix it quickly (two days). The outdoor area with the swings and fire pit were exactly as pictured and definitely the highlight of the property. The property was nice, but nicer can be had for the $
