Un po caro ma va bene così

Place was clean and worked well for us, and parking was not difficult to find - a near miracle in Palermo. The location is close to the ferry terminal and an industrial wharf, so you may encounter traffic issues in accordance with the ferry schedule and noise from the wharf. There is a Lidl super market and a decent bakery / coffeeshop within easy walking distance, but no restaurants. We had zero interactions with the staff. If you want to walk to the touristy parts of Palermo that will take 40 minutes. Overall quite good and well worth the money.

Getting the codes and understanding the procedure of getting into the building was initially stressful. Also, it is a long way up to the room. Though there is an elevator for most of the way, this may be a challenge for some visitors.

Die Lage ist perfekt für jene, die von der Fähre kommen und gleich mal eine Nacht in Palermo übernachten wollen statt sich gleich in den irren Verkehr zu stürzen (5min Fahrt, eine Abbiegung). Kostenfreie und viele Parkplätze befinden sich an der Strasse direkt vor der Unterkunft. Das Selfcheck-in funktioniert erst nachdem man die Daten wie Ausweisnr hochgeladen hat. Dies war uns nicht bewusst. Das Zimmer ist schön, modern und mit Blick auf eine Werft (mit geschlossenem Fenster hörten wir keinerlei Lärm). Zu Fuss ins Zentrum braucht es ca. 30min. Frühstück wurde keines angeboten. 5min zu Fuss hat es eine Bar. Da gibt es italienisches Frühstück: Café, Saft, Croissants, Sandwichs

Der Zimmer-Code, den ich 1-2h vor der Ankunft und kurz nach dem Hochladen der Ausweisdaten erhielt war falsch. Es brauchte ein Telefongespräch damit wir den richtigen Code erhielten. Der Lift fiel am Abreisetag aus. Er war auch vorher schon sehr lahm.

La camera è abbastanza grande, abbiamo potuto parcheggiare lo scooter nel cortile del palazzo senza costi aggiuntivi. La posizione è comoda nonostante isolata, in pochi minuti di scooter si raggiunge il centro, un posto molto tranquillo. La colazione era offerta dal proprietario, nella cucina in comune c'erano biscotti, caffe, latte, succhi, cereali, ma alcune tazze erano sporche.

Non essendoci balcone o stendino per asciugare i vestiti è stato molto scomodo quindi abbiamo dovuto appendere tutto in bagno per cercare di asciugare i vestiti. Il mini frigo non funzionava, acqua e bevande erano un brodino che abbiamo provato a raffreddare sotto il climatizzatore, abbiamo avvisato il proprietario e ha detto avrebbe controllato ma non ci ha dato più notizie. Il climatizzatore durante la notte si spegneva immotivatamente, 3 volte ogni notte, facendoci svegliare in un bagno di sudore, lo abbiamo riferito al proprietario ma non abbiamo mai ricevuto risposta.
