About this house rental
Country house located in the heart of the Regional National Park of the Ariège Pyrenees at an altitude of 750m in an organic breeding area. Facing south, it is adjoining ours, but separate, your privacy will be preserved. A large terraced garden faces the Arize massif, the land is sloping and it takes 12 steps to access the house from the parking lot in the courtyard. No traffic.
Very comfortable all seasons, cool in summer, underfloor heating in winter, fireplace for pleasure and grilling back from walks.
Three levels: downstairs, living room-dining room-kitchen and toilet, two well-individualized bedrooms upstairs and another in the attic. Each with bathroom or shower and toilet. Quality bedding: 2X90 or 1X180 in each room (please specify).
Hikes and walks from the house or mountain outings, prehistoric caves, underground river, 18-hole golf course, skiing, fishing, greenway, bike rentals, farm visits, horseback riding nearby... or complete rest! Possibility of television. Ad available on lbc.

A very special place to take a break - perched on a hillside just 20 minutes away from Bastide de Serou (fabulous artisan Boulanger and brilliant Chez Sebastian restaurant) with a truly fantastic rural view of the Pyrenean foothills, the house is styled perfectly and has great comfortable beds. The hosts were wonderfully supportive for information about the area, readily on hand next door yet affording privacy. Internet availability issues hampered at first, but then it is a rural location and maybe being offline is the right thing to help you relax and live in the moment. A special place, a unique holiday location, very much enjoyed, thank you so much Francois!
