Location and view if the ocean was especially memorable. Breakfast was a great selection of Sri Lankan and western foods which made it easy for a family traveling with kids to ensure everyone was happy.
I was surprised to find a lot of coffee grinds in the coffee pot. It made drinking my morning coffee a little bit challenging.

Convenient for the first night since we stayed one day in Colombo. Room was good, decent size and clean.
A bit noisy with the train passing by, the rooftop was good but the swimming pool edges were a bit sharp.

Courteous staff, excellent room - we got a suite instead of two separate rooms . They even arranged an extra child's bed.
Food - very avg food -nothing was tasty - pancakes (undercooked), Appam (too hard). Omlettes were the saviours. The price is too high for 1 day - we paid around $200 per night including taxes, with breakfast.
