    Recommend hotel for stay close to sea and close to bambalapitiya , wellawaththa and kollupitiya. Room was neat and clean. Staff was very friendly. Recommend

    We stayed at Marine Bay for a day, and I’m glad that’s all it was. The room had a weird smell and had to be aired out for quite some time before we could breathe through our nose. The A/C took more than three hours to get to even a slightly manageable temperature. None of the lights around and above the bed were working either. Basic amenities listed in the room description weren’t available and though they promised to send the stuff up when we called, they did not. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

    The location is very convenient and easily accessible, which was the main positive point of my stay. However, the overall experience was disappointing and not worth the money paid. The bathroom was in very poor condition and the cleanliness was below an acceptable standard. The room service was also not satisfactory, and there were not enough facilities. The room did not look as good as shown in the photos. Overall, although the location is excellent, the hotel needs significant improvement in cleanliness, bathroom condition, room service, and facilities. I would not consider it good value for money.
