Tiplady Cottage

Location was great. Shame the only pub in the village has shut down. But that's nothing to do with the cottage.

Cleanliness, stayed last year and is what very clean. This year was a disappointment. Surface clean only. Dust, food, and cobwebs all over. Or maybe my standards are just too high.

The cottage is in a quiet, peaceful location in a picturesque village. It is very comfortable and is so well equipped that it is like a home from home. Although the garden was very inviting, we didn't sit out because it was a bit breezy. The maps and information were a great help for planning our short stay activities. There are lots of helpful instructions posted in relevant places inside the rooms, a bonus for the less technically minded.

We parked in the space allocated to Tiplady Cottage and although our car is small, we found it impossible to use because cars were parked opposite the entry. There is a larger area to the left of the small gate and this proved a better option and didn't interfere with residents.

Every requirement was facilitated for. There was not one occasion where we thought it was missing anything which is very unusual. Even if it was just simply there wasn't enough coat hangers - which was not the case.
