Remote and quiet with a generous host. Be sure to try the food!

This place is perfect for a quiet, rural and simply beautiful base in Tuscany. We had the room with a terrace, where you can enjoy meals and take in some quiet time while enjoying one of the best views in Chianti. Tilly (the host) is extremely kind and made the stay perfect. Her food has a simple and rustic touch and is simply delicious (ask her for her "pasta anomala" or fennel risotto). She was also of great help after our car broke down for 3 days, and drove us to the garage after checkout (as there are no taxis in the region).

We tried to come up with something and failed. We fell in love with this place.

The owner was an incredibly interesting and kind person, with valuable advice for our trip. The place itself was incredibly quiet, relaxing, and conveyed the image of an Italian family farm. The food at the property was local and very tasty.

A Wonderful Stay with a great Host

A place, in the end, has the mark and the character of its host and that is why Montecorboli is a wonderful place. Matilde, our host is one of the people that makes a magical place even more magical. She took over the place this year and started to run it this season. She is friendly, a great cook and very helpful, which made our stay a great experience on top of everything. There are also some useful details for the guests below: General: The place is on the top of a hill and has a panoramic view of the entire area, which we really enjoyed a lot. You can take short hikes around the farm, or chill in the gardens (there are comfortable garden chairs) and there are open places for your children as well. The nature of the place is really something different that you can't be described in words. And because of the nature, there can be small bugs or flies (and fireflies at night, if you are lucky). Transportation: Very easy to access with Google Maps, there is only a 700 meters of dirt road, with only one car to pass but it was not a problem at all. We had driven out and in a lot and never had a problem. The location is also very close to nearby towns and supermarkets. Facility: We stayed in a room with terrace&kitchen. There were all the required materials for cooking in the kitchen, and Matilde helps you if you are short of something like oil etc. Matilde's breakfasts were really good, she prepares breakfast with the fresh ingredients of the season. Also, you can book a dinner beforehand if you want to eat there at night. There is no strict menu, so better talk to Matilde through booking's chat on your dietary choices. In the end, we definitely are looking forward to our next visit to Montecorboli!

Our stay at this breathtaking agriturismo in the heart of Tuscany wasn’t just a vacation—it was a soul-filling experience we’ll cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in warmth, beauty, and the kind of tranquility you only find in dreams. Waking up to the scent of fresh herbs, the sound of cicadas, and golden light spilling over the vineyards was like stepping into a painting. And then the wanderful deleciuse home made breakfast. The house rustic elegance, with its stone walls and terracotta floors, well decorated felt like a true home away frome home. The Heart of It All – The Host, Matilde with her genuine kindness made us feel not just welcome, but deeply connected to this place. If you'r looking for the real Tuscany, slow, soulful, and stunning—look no further. We arrived as guests and left with our hearts full, already dreaming of our return.

This is the place to stay if you want to immerse in nature and experience a slice of Toscana heaven. The apartment is in a 1000-yr-old stone building surrounded by fruit trees, olive groves, and vineyards. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and comfortable with a fully-stocked kitchen and good WiFi. There is an outdoor patio area to sit and chill. And a garden where one can while away the hours watching the resident ducks. Our hosts, Martina and Vanessa, were wonderful - welcoming, friendly, and very informative. They served us delicious breakfast of homemade jams and cakes, and honey from their farm. The location was also good to explore the region such as San Donato, Monteriggioni, Abbadia a Isola, San Gimignano, Florence, Volterra, etc. Highly recommend.

Relaxing, perfect location to explore chianti Region, wonderful Atmosphere

Wonderful people who obviously love their job and make this place so special! It is a very quiet and peaceful place- perfect for relaxing! Everything is rather basic but nice and clean. Everything is the way you can expect it for this price. But the love snd dedication of Martina and Vanessa make this place so special! The food (with local ingredients) is prepared in such a nice way and they love to tell you about the place to visit around!

Spacious, clean apartment with all amenities and the great view on the hills of Chianti region. Great place to enjoy quiet vacations or to visit Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano or Volterra - depends on preferences. Martina is a very nice and friendly host and Vanessa is a bakery master - her cakes are delicious.

Perhaps breakfasts could be a bit more diverse and generous.

Great location and fantastic ambience. Plenty of local produce to try out. Nice wines made at the farm. In addition, we could taste farm produced honey, jams and other products.

Très belle adresse nature

Un gite agricole situé en pleine nature, au milieu des vignes, à mi chemin entre Florence et Sienne. Sa vraie plus value est apportée par Matilde, hôte très accueillante, tout à la fois discrète et présente quand nous an avons eu besoin, et vértitable Chef de cuisine pour un succulent diner et de bons petits déjeuners.

Altes Steinhaus, ruhig gelegen, Doppelzimmer einfach eingerichtet, Bad eher alt. Schöner Garten zum Verweilen. Frühstück gut. Gute Kommunikation mit Gastgeberin.

Nicht für tiefergelegte Autos geeignet. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht so ganz. Etwas teuer für das simple eher ältere Doppelzimmer (110€ die Nacht).

Nasza pierwsza wizyta we Włoszech zmieniła się w przecudowny sen z którego nie możemy się obudzić. Teren na którym znajduje się agroturystuka, jej wygląd, wystrój, lokalizacja, oraz wspaniałe widoki na cudowne wzgórza w okół są oszałamiające. Cudowne wschody i zachody słońca, pyszne posiłki, magiczne wieczory, można siedzieć cały czas wpatrując się w ten obraz całymi dniami. Gospodarzem obiektu jest Matylda. Ciepła, zabawna, wspaniała osoba, doskonała kucharka która dopełnia cały obraz. Poznaliśmy wspaniałych ludzi, przeżyliśmy podróż swojego życia dziękujemy wszystkim za to doświadczenie. Cała magia Toskanii w jednym miejscu, ciężko nam wracać do codziennego życia. Musimy wrócić do was... Our first visit to Italy has turned into an over-indulgent dream from which we cannot wake up. The area where the agritourism is located, its look, decor, location, and the wonderful views of the wonderful hills around are stunning. Wonderful sunrises and sunsets, delicious meals, magical evenings , you could sit all the time gazing at this picture for days. The host of the property is Matilda. A warm, funny, wonderful person, an excellent cook who completes the whole picture. We met wonderful people, experienced the trip of our lives thank you all for this experience. All the magic of Tuscany in one place, it's hard for us to go back to everyday life. We have to come back to you....

아주 좋았습니다. 호스트 마틸데는 친절하고 유쾌하고 친구처럼 친근하게 우리를 대해주었습니다. 또한 맛있고 배가 부를 정도의 넉넉한 아침식사 제공은 숙박비를 생각한다면 미안할 정도 였습니다. 아침식사를 생각한다면 너무나도 경제적인 숙박입니다. 정성스러운 홈메이드 저녁 식사는 이탈리아 가정식 또는 유럽의 가정식 같아서 특별한 경험을 제공해주었습니다. 저의 아이들은 그곳에 살고 있는 고양이 찰리를 잊지 못합니다. 야외 테이블에서 식사와 여유있는 시간을 갖을수 있어서 너무 행복한 시간이었습니다. 고맙습니다 마틸데 It was a wonderful experience. Our host Matilde was kind, cheerful, and treated us with the warmth of a close friend. The delicious and generously portioned breakfast made us feel almost guilty considering the room rate—it was that good. When you think about the breakfast alone, this place is incredibly cost-effective. The heartfelt homemade dinner felt like a true Italian or European home-cooked meal, offering us a very special experience. My children still can’t forget Charlie, the cat who lives there. We were so happy to enjoy our meals and relax at the outdoor table. Thank you so much, Matilde.”

Das Agriturismo bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht. Wir hatten ein Apartment mit eigener Terrasse. Die Gastgeberin Matilde ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Nicht weiterzuempfehlen

Das Frühstück war gut und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Garten war sehr gepflegt und schön angelegt.

Das Wasser aus der Leitung ist kein Trinkwasser. Die Einrichtung in Küche und Bad ist sehr alt und teilweise erneuerungsbedürftig. Die Küche und das Bad waren nicht wirklich geputzt, in der Küche waren überall Ameisen, das Geschirr mussten wir erst einmal spülen. Bei schlechtem Wetter ist der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr ungemütlich. Total einsame Lage am Ende eines 1km langen schlecht befahrbaren Schotterweges; keinerlei andere Wege vom Haus aus vorhanden.

We hebben genoten!

Mathilde is ontzettend gastvrij en probeert het je echt naar de zin te maken. Ze heeft koken als hobby, we hebben 2 avonden bij haar gegeten en het was ontzettend lekker en divers met veel verse groenten, kaas van de buren verderop, en kruiden, walnoten, olijfolie en rode wijn van eigen farm. Echt een aanrader! Het ontbijt ook lekker en afwisselend met verse, en zelfgemaakte producten. Het uitzicht is fantastisch en doordat het afgelegen ligt heerlijk rustig! Laat je niet weerhouden door het onverharde pad naar de woning toe, dat is prima te doen.

Le domaine est magnifique, très beaux bâtiments anciens et jardin joliment fleuri, la vue depuis la terrasse est splendide, le lit est bien confortable, le logement bien équipé, notre hôte a été très attentionnée pour répondre à nos besoins (notamment pour notre bébé), les repas qu'elle nous a préparé à base de produits locaux étaient délicieux !

Schöne Unterkunft in traumhafter Umgebung, aber nur für die Sommermonate geeignet

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer außergewöhnlich schönen Umgebung mitten in der Natur und bietet traumhafte Blicke in die Landschaft des Chianti. Insgesamt ist die gesamte Anlage sehr liebevoll gestaltet und ist super geeignet, um sich zu erholen. Unser Appartement war sehr gemütlich und authentisch eingerichtet.

Die Unterkunft ist für kältere Jahreszeiten nicht so gut geeignet, da die Heizung nur auf besondere Absprache mit der Vermieterin eingeschaltet wird. Der im Appartement vorhandene Pelletofen reicht leider nicht aus, um die gesamten Räume warm zu bekommen. Außerdem ist das Frühstück äußerst spartanisch. Wir hätten uns wenigstens frisches Brot gewünscht.
