About this house rental
Beautiful pine floors and accents welcome you into our cozy cabin. Our open floor plan allows you to enjoy a wood burning fireplace from anywhere on the main level along with easy access to the wrap around deck; perfect for stargazing, looking for wildlife or just enjoying morning coffee.
A highlight of the cabin is a spacious pavilion on the lower level. This covered area is perfect for grilling and dining, relaxing in the hammock, reading a book or playing games.
A private master bedroom sits on the upper level with a king sized bed, full bathroom, smart TV and private balcony.
The lower level consists of a common area to relax and watch TV, a pullout queen sized sofa, full bathroom, washer/dryer and separate bedroom with two twin sized beds. A covered porch and access to the pavilion can also be granted from this level.
Deer Knoll cabin sits within a gated community, complete with a number of ponds; perfect for fishing, areas to hike and explore and 5 minutes from kayak/tube rentals. The cabin is easy driving distance to West Jefferson, Mt. Jefferson, New River state park, Grayson Highlands and the Creeper Trail.

Very clean inside. Kitchen was stocked well with utensils and supplies. Beds were comfortable. A/C could use some improvement as it was very cold in downstairs bedroom and warm in upstairs bedroom.

The cabin was exactly as advertised. The check-in and check-out procedures were very simple. We found the cabin charming, clean, and well appointed.
