About this apartment rental

Very cosy apartment block "Le Gorgonie Villa Botti". In the centre of Latte Ventimiglia 6 km from the centre of Bordighera, 8 km from the centre of Menton France, 4 km from the centre of Ventimiglia, 50 m from the sea, direct access to the beach. For shared use: park (fenced) with lawn and trees, swimming pool (16 x 8 m, depth 100 - 180 cm, seasonal availability: 01.Jul. - 31.Aug. pool opening hours: 09:00-12:30 and 15:30-19:30). Outdoor shower. 200 m long narrow motor access to the house. Width of access road: 200 cm. Public parking 50 m on the road. Supermarket 400 m, restaurant 300 m, bar 200 m, bakery 400 m, bus stop 300 m, railway station "Ventimiglia" 4 km, sandy beach 800 m pebble beach 50 m. Nearby attractions: Giardini Hanbury 8 km, ventimiglia Alta 4 km, Balzi Rossi 8 km. Please note: railway line closeby 20 m from the property.
"Bella Vista", 3-room apartment 85 m2 on 2 levels on 1st floor. Very cosy furnishings: living/dining room with TV. Kitchen-/living room (oven, dishwasher, 4 gas rings, toaster, kettle). Upper floor: walk-through room with 1 double bed (160 cm, length 200 cm), shower/bidet/WC. 1 double bedroom. Gas heating. Heating available only from 01.11. to 30.04. Beautiful view of the sea. Lovely location, comfortable for a night—but a few hiccups!We really appreciated the charming spot by the sea—waking up to that view was a highlight. The apartment, though a bit dated, served its purpose for us.That said, there were a few things that could use improvement. The beds were quite firm, and the pool was located in a separate building—not as convenient as expected. The nearby train passed frequently, which made things a little noisy at times. The dishwasher didn’t work perfectly, and without air conditioning, we had to keep the shutters closed because it got very warm inside, making the space feel dark. We also weren’t given a building key, and since the entrance locked at 10 pm, it was a bit stressful—thankfully, a kind neighbor helped us get in with our two kids.All in all, the stay was okay for just one night, but I’d suggest a few upgrades before recommending it for longer visits. Hope these notes help others know what to expect—or what could be improved!

Emplacement magnifique, face à la mer. Jardins très bien entretenus. Voie ferrée très proche, mais les trains ralentissent et la gêne est modique. Appartement spacieux, propre et bien fourni en vaisselle. Procédure d'arrivée à préciser : le numéro de téléphone sur la réservation n'était pas le bon.
