Capitán FreshApartments

Location - these apartments are right in the city centre. You are on a side street directly off the main shopping/bar/restaurant area and sooo close to everything. 5-10 minutes walk from the beach in one direction, 5-10 minutes walk from Alcazaba, the Roman ruins and Merced Square which has some lovely tapas bars too. The office is close to the apartment too, easy to find and with friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, and the Airport bus drops off around 5 minutes from the apartment too. Cleanliness - the apartment was clean and tidy with everything we needed, fresh towels at request, hot water in the shower each time it was used, coffee machine and fully air conditioned. TV and WiFi, everything we could have needed for an apartment stay was there. We really liked the apartment and would definitely stay again when we return.

Personally we didn't mind this at all, but just to notify others who may have different needs, the location is very loud and lively. The hosts are transparent about this in the Booking notes, but just in case this is missed. There are many bars and restaurants around the apartment street which stay open well after midnight. Also because it's a city centre area, the cleaners come to sweep streets and empty bottle bins at around 6am before the city comes alive again. While none of this was an issue to us, it may make the location not ideal for families if you have children who are light sleepers!

Ik heb een heel fijn verblijf gehad in dit appartement in Málaga. De ligging is echt ideaal: midden in het centrum, waardoor alles op loopafstand is—restaurants, winkels en bezienswaardigheden zitten allemaal om de hoek. Het appartement zelf was goed uitgerust met fijne faciliteiten zoals een keukentje, waterkoker en airconditioning. Ook de openslaande deuren geven veel charme aan de ruimte. Het bed lag comfortabel en de zonsverduistering zorgde ervoor dat het lekker donker bleef om goed te slapen. Alles was bovendien netjes en schoon bij aankomst, wat erg prettig was.

Een klein punt om rekening mee te houden is dat het, door de centrale ligging, ’s nachts wat rumoerig kan zijn. Oordoppen zijn daarom geen overbodige luxe. Daarnaast moet de sleutel op een andere locatie worden opgehaald, wat even handig is om te weten. Verder een heel prettig verblijf op een top locatie—zeker een aanrader voor een citytrip in Málaga.
