A comfortable and stylish gite for two in a peaceful location.

The location was lovely, very peaceful with a horse in the field, chickens, friendly dogs, good parking and near some wonderful visits such as Le Bec Hellouin. The gite was comfortable and stylish and the owner very friendly and helpful.

We would have liked instructions for the very sophisticated shower and a handle on the sliding door into the bathroom. The breakfast was very carb heavy. Croissants/pain au chocolat plus bread, homemade jam, fruit juice, tea & coffee. We would have preferred to have a tick list of options the night before e.g. options of bread with cheese or ham, a piece of fruit. However, at the price we paid, and with the fridge and kitchen, it was still very good value.

Lovely stay in a rural location.

Excellent location in the countryside and positioned in great location to continue a trip further South or if stopping on a return North to the tunnel etc. We hadn’t realised how nice the area is and the surrounding towns are very attractive and this property would make an ideal base from which to explore. The property is very quiet being just off a country lane and has parking outside the entrance. There are towns around that are within easy walking distance and many others a short drive away. The accommodation is perfect for two and has everything needed including a private outside area overlooking the horses field. We’d have booked another night if we’d realised how nice it was. The pictures we saw are exactly as the property is. If we’re driving through France again we’ll return. Be careful of the owners dog when you arrive as it’s a little elderly and may not realise you have driven in.

A delightful comfortable quiet gite in the countryside

We received a very friendly welcome and were able to arrange an earlier arrival than was advertised (3pm instead of 6pm). The gite is in a completely rural location and was very quiet. The small terrace overlooked the owner's field in which she keeps a horse and a couple of chickens and was a delightful place to sit out and enjoy a drink in the evening or breakfast in the morning. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well-equipped and clean. The property is about a 5 minute drive from Le Bec Hellouin where you can find a few restaurants and about 10 minutes from Brionne where you can find a selection of supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again.

The WiFi signal in the gite was very variable and, mostly, poor.

This is a delightful place to stop over, in beautiful countryside. The horse added additional charm, as did the breakfast. Excellent value for money.

A great quiet getaway in the country

This was a perfect little home away from home. In the quiet countryside with beautiful landscapes any which way you walk or bike. If you want to enjoy the calm of the French countryside I can think of no better place. The home itself is entirely freestanding, with a well equipped kitchen and many little touches from the lovely owner. Having breakfast on the terrace with the local horse for company in the morning sun was a pleasure.

Nothing really. Just remember you're not in a city or even a town so get some groceries and cook, or be prepared to drive a bit.

After a long drive this was the perfect panacea to relax and unwind

This is a lovely place at which to stop off during a roadtrip through France. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and basics provided in the kitchen. We bought bread, wine cheese, etc and ate a picnic on the small patio off the bedroom, which looks over the countryside. It was easy to find, the host was friendly and we were close to lovely forest trails for walking our dog - or if you prefer taking a run or cycling. There isn't a lot locally but if you want a comfortable, quiet retreat, this is the spot.

Maybe a corkscrew, kitchen knife and scissors would complete the kitchen implements provided.

Beautiful wooden type cabin, well presented and cosy!

Lovely little place to stay during our drive over to Portugal. The host was friendly, and her place was well presented, quiet and cosy! We will be booking again when we do our return journey back ☺️🙏🏼 They also accommodated our four cats, which was much appreciated

Very pleasant owner. Cosy gite, ideal for a couple for a short stay. Quiet, relaxing, location. Massive comfortable bed. Close to Brionne where there is a great Sunday market and very large park, with lake, to explore with your dog.

Lovely owner who made sure everything was ok. Very clean gite, massive, comfortable, bed and great shower. Very peaceful and tranquil area but close to a bustling town with a couple of markets in the week and a large leisure lake ideal for walking our dog. Ideal for a couple seeking a peaceful night or two. Dogs welcome.

No real indoor area to sit down, just a small table and 2 breakfast bar chairs, but a lovely little terrace with table and chairs to sit out on when the weather is fine, which it was for us.

Campo y calma, para el alma

La casa es independiente, pequeña pero muy cómoda, ideal para dos personas. El propietario fue muy amable y atento durante toda nuestra estancia. La ubicación es muy tranquila, junto a un camino rural, y cuenta con estacionamiento privado. El alojamiento dispone de todo lo necesario, incluyendo una zona exterior privada con bonitas vistas al campo. La cama era muy confortable, la cocina estaba muy bien equipada y todo se encontraba impecable.

Le bon accueil. Nous avons aimé le calme de la petite terrasse et nous y asseoir face à la pâture du cheval. Bonne literie et grand lit.

Gîte cosy au calme

Christine nous a accueillis chaleureusement dans son joli gîte décoré avec beaucoup de goût...un vrai havre de paix, aucun bruit, vue sur le pré et son cheval depuis la chambre. Il est très bien situé par rapport au Bec Hellouin et la ferme pédagogique.

Une petite merveille, ce gîte !

L’accueil très sympathique, un endroit vraiment charmant ! Très calme, aménagé et décoré avec soin, et d’une très grande propreté ! Un graand lit super confortable, l’espace est bien agencé, avec même une petite pièce pour ranger les bagages + une petite terrasse privative, avec table, chaises et même 2 transats, qui donne sur l’enclos du cheval, magnifique !... Une adresse que nous recommandons ++ !!

Gîte indépendant, confortable et très au calme dans la nature. Très bon accueil, échanges agréables avec Christine. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement proche du Bec Hellouin. On y serait restés volontiers plus longtemps.

Excellent !

Excellent accueil malgré l’heure d’arrivée un peu tardive. Jolie vue de la terrasse, avec le cheval. Petit studio de plain-pied, complètement indépendant et très bien agencé. Il ne manque rien. Le wifi est au top. Parking privé et gratuit juste en face du studio.
