Beautiful Log Cabin Style House

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and cozy atmosphere. The cabin is beautifully decorated with a rustic charm that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for a peaceful retreat, surrounded by nature and offering stunning views. We enjoyed our mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds and taking in the serene environment. The evenings were equally delightful. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen had all the essentials. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept soundly each night. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided excellent recommendations for local activities and dining options. Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

A bunch of friends and I stayed here because we were attending a wedding nearby. The house was clean, the beds were soft, and the amenities were fun! The owner was very kind and accommodating. Would definitely rent again!

The place was okay, though I wouldn't recommend it very highly. It served our purposes -- enough room for 7 people pretty comfortably, decent value for the beds, safe and clean enough -- so 3 stars. The main issue is the listing. It says the house is on the same property as a paintball / ropes course; more accurate would be to say the cabin is in the parking lot of these facilities. The ropes course is your view from the living room, and the paintball fields are literally 40 feet from the house. People playing paintball are frequently walking through the parking lot right outside the kitchen window, and you hear the pop pop of the guns pretty constantly -- not what I expected based on the pictures and description ("quiet private setting"). Also, when we walked in we heard someone yelling from inside the house, which is how we learned that the manager of the property and her 12yo son live in the unit below the house. It's attached through a door in the laundry room. That was fine, but the listing doesn't say "manager/owner lives on property" -- again, misleading. The manager also had her groceries in the fridge when we arrived, and she had to clean out some old ice cream from the freezer. We had trouble reaching her when we had a few questions. And a mouse ran through the living room a few times. Overall, the house was kind of mediocre, but mostly I feel I was misled and the owners should change the listing so guests know what they're actually getting. The area around is nice!
