Perfect location even more so if arriving by train

Everything perfect

The apartment was well located and looked directly onto the coast. It was very impressive to watch the sea during a storm.

The property is located in the same building as the train station. While it was extremely convient for us to travel around all 5 villages, it was difficult for the third member of our group to sleep in the room adjacent to the train station. The train does run all night long.

The location was excellent. It was very convenient as a base to explore.

I think if we had needed to use the third bedroom it would have been hot and noisy

This is a great apartment in an amazing location. Do not be put off by the fact that the apartment is located in the same building as the train station, we did not find this to be a problem. The beautiful views of the beaches from your windows and easy walk out the front door to the beach are well worth a little train noise. We did not hear the train noise, generally only the 3rd bedroom might have a little of that noise. A small, well equipped kitchen that opens up to look at the ocean. There is also a small elevator to get you up to the apartment which was very much appreciated.

There was some confusion about where to leave our bags since we arrived early. We were sent on a wild goose chase to find the management company's office, but never found it and eventually the apartment was just ready earlier than expected. Very nice young woman then met us and explained how everything worked in the apartment. Better off to just wait at the train station until the apartment is ready.

Great location! Cute little apartment in the heart of Monterosso!

Location, clean and comfy

Very nice apartment and conveniently located steps away from the beach in Monterosso. the amenities were as per listing and self check was good, infact it was an amazing experience.

The location was fantastic with uninterrupted views of the beach, it backed onto the train station (from the 3rd bedroom you can see the train platform out the window) - do not let that put you off. You cannot hear the trains or platform noise with the windows closed, saves walking those extra kms to get to the station when a lot of travel around Cinque Terre is done by train. As you would expect - the beach is alive in summer with restaurants and bars on your door step and having a quick swim in the ocean couldn't be any easier. Don't make the mistake we made - contact Bianca the host and give her your email address rather than messaging through Booking.com, She gave us simple instructions on where to meet her to get into the apartment which we overlooked and walked unnecessarily a km or two before we realised our mistake. We rang Bianca, she told us to wait where we were and very kindly walked to us and escorted us back to the apartment. She gave us some great tips on places to see and things to do in Montersosso and Vernazza. Do yourself a favour and make your bookings for dinner now for Torre Aurora Restaurant in Monterosso and La Torre Restaurant in Vernazza - two very popular restaurants and the food and service we received was amazing (as were the views) The apartment is literally at the front of the train station - accessible by lift and stairs that are well disguised unless you know where they are. The apartment has two big bedrooms with fantastic beach views and really good aircon, the 3rd bedroom has no beach views or aircon and a fold out bed which isn't the most comfortable - it has a fan which struggles to keep the room cool. The kitchen has opening windows and door but no balcony but you can easily spend time watching the sunsets and beach activity from the comfort of the kitchen

There are a few issues that should be resolved soon about this apartment but the actual apartment was really good. the views from the kitchen and bedrooms are straight onto the beach. There is a focaccia shop downstairs that is perfect for breakfast and the beach is less then a minutes walk from door to beach. What needs to be mentioned is that it is located in the train station building, this was only a problem for our 19yo who had the sofa bed and could hear the trains, they are not noticeable in the other rooms. This also makes it so convenient to catch the regular trains between the villages. The instructions to enter the building were like something out of a spy novel/Harry Potter and the builders wouldn't believe us that we were staying there. A quick phone call to the booking office solved that. They were very easy to deal with. Would happily stay here again esp once the lift is finished.

Only one bathroom, was ok for two nights but for 5 adults, any longer could have been an issue. Also has to be noted that there are significant building works going on. They are putting in a lift and fixing the stair balustrades. Can get quite noisy during the day and hauling bags up stairs isn't fun. Once that is done, it will be a really nice place to base yourself while holiday in this area.

Vista maravilhosa, localização perfeita a poucos passos da praia, quartos anexos a estação de trem que apesar da proximidade não atrapalha em relação ao barulho. Quartos espaçosos e cozinha muito bem equipada.

Wunderschönes Appartment mit voll ausgestatteter Küche. Zwei geräumige Schlafzimmer mit Meerblick. Das dritte Zimmer, ein kleines Wohnzimmer mit Couch, aber ohne Fernseher, hatte seitlichen Meerblick und grenzte direkt an den Bahnsteig 1 des Bahnhofs Monterosso. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass das Apartment direkt im Bahnhofsgebäude liegt und man daher untertags die Züge und Bahnhofdurchsagen hört. Aber auch das Meer hört man deutlich! Ich kannte Monterosso bereits und konnte abschätzen, was mich an diesem Ort erwartet. Diese Unterkunft ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Altstadt von Monterosso und die anderen Orte der Cinque Terre. Hervorzuheben ist auch, dass diese Unterkunft als eine der ganz wenigen über einen Aufzug verfügt und für ältere Menschen gut zu erreichen ist. Außerdem war die Unterkunft sehr sauber. Wir waren zufrieden und haben uns gut erholt!

Nichts, denn ich wusste, dass das Appartment direkt am Bahnhof liegt. Für uns war das ein Vorteil.
