We liked the location which is very close to the train station and in the shopping area of Nara. The hotel provides complimentary face masks and bath bombs plus other amenities that you may have forgotten to pack.
The room was a little small, we couldn't adjust the thermostat, the bathroom light & fan were on constantly and we couldn't turn them off, and most importantly, we arrive 30 minutes before check in and without even consulting the computer or checking if our room was ready, they told us we had to come back after their check in time. The breakfast included in our room rate was awful ... we left and found a better option.

Location was perfect, shops all around, also a good restaurant next to the entrance of the hotel, thinks it is part of the hotel.
Was not the cheapest hotel, but nothing was negatve actually. I missed an onsen though, something we had in several other hotels during our trip in Japan.
