This pleasant and fully renovated chalet (2020) is perfect for families and is also designed with accessibility in mind, making it suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Located just 6.5 km from the charming center of Durbuy, it offers a peaceful stay with easy access to outdoor activities and local amenities. You can enjoy a round of golf at Five Nations Golf Durbuy nearby or explore the region via mountain biking and water sports. After a day out, unwind with your favorite drink on the rooftop terrace or enjoy a barbecue in the fresh air. The well-equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals with ease, and the cozy living room with a fireplace and TV is perfect for relaxing evenings with family and friends. a nice chalet / cabin, very well appointed with just the right kitchen tools and utensils, nice linen and towels, and a cosy gas fire place. Ideal for a long winter weekend of board games, cooking and the occasional walk in nearby Weris or the forests. We chose this place as it the cabin is wheelchair accessible (including the bathroom), and even with an electric wheelchair this posed no problem, we all felt very comfortable. (The infrared sauna is not wheelchair accessible but we knew this in advance.)

Een meer dan mooi verzorgd chalet met een nette afwerking. Compleet ingerichte keuken, je hoeft niets mee te nemen en wat er staat is netjes. Heerlijk genoten van de rust en bosrijke omgeving, komen zeker nog een terug.

Chouette endroit au calme et bien aménagé. En vacances avec des PMR et il faut bien reconnaître que l'endroit est fait pour des "PMR light". Les espaces sont réduits pour les manœuvres/transferts et tout n'est pas 100% accessible. Accueil sympathique et lieu à recommander en tenant compte des remarques ci-avant si vous êtes PMR.

Het huisje is erg mooi en heeft een fijne keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt. De veranda is ook erg fijn met extra parasol. Genoeg plek. Ook voor de rolstoel. De eerste slaapkamer met twee persoons bed is toegankelijk voor rolstoel. Het bed hebben we wat opgeschoven zodat de rolstoel er kan staan. De badkamer is ook prima. De omgeving Durbuy vormenpark en midgetgolf is toegankelijk. Net als weres met zijn hunebedden. De route is te doen met de rolstoel. Het museum is ook leuk. Stadje dichtbij met winkels en bakker.

Huisje was mooi en de omgeving ook. Omdat de douche niet goed water kwijt kon waren onze handdoeken nat geworden. We hebben bij de lokale winkel 3 nieuwe gekocht. Bij vertrek huisje door dame geïnspecteerd we waren alleen vergeten beddengoed weg te halen dit nog even snel gedaan en netjes afscheid genomen. Daarna appje dat afstand bediening weg was en handdoeken weg. Antwoord gegeven dat we onze handdoeken hebben meegenomen, handdoeken waren identiek qua merk en grootte we hebben dus de verkeerde kleur meegenomen. Ze hebben zelf onze afvalbakken doorzocht. Dit geloof je toch niet. En zeggen dat we leugenaars zijn. Of we nu even ruim 200 euro willen betalen. Nou dacht het niet. Even kijken waar we voor deze menden kunnen waarschuwen.

Het contact met de gastvrouw verliep vlot en in het Nederlands. Bij aankomst stond ze ons reeds op te wachten. Ze heeft een rondleiding in het verblijf gedaan met ons en alles goed uitgelegd. Alles was zeer proper en net. In de keuken waren er naast de standaard zaken ook enkele praktische zaken aanwezig zoals vaatwastabletten, peper en zout, keukenrolpapier, ...In de keuken kan je perfect zelf koken. Er is zowel chauffage als airco in het verblijf. De badkamer is ook ruim en er is een mooie douche. In de living is er voldoende zitplaats en er is digitale tv. Wifi werkte ook goed. Slaapkamers zijn ook in orde, goede bedden. Gemakkelijk was ook dat alle bad, -keuken en bedlinnen reeds aanwezig was. Bedden waren opgemaakt bij aankomst. Het verblijf is ook een goede uitvalsbasis om enkele trips in de omgeving te doen. Je hebt op 1,3km 2 supermarkten liggen. In Barvaux zelf vind je ook nog meerdere bakkers. Iets verderop zit aan een kruispunt een goede slagerij en een bakker. Wij waren heel erg tevreden met ons verblijf! Ook bij het verlaten van het verblijf verliep alles zoals afgesproken. Super!
