Nestled behind the historic Bayards Cove you will find Gulls Nest - a perfectly equipped pet friendly apartment for one couple in the heart of this ancient, picturesque town. With one bedroom, a well-equipped compact kitchen, living room, and shower room, you're only a stone's throw from Dartmouth's riverside charms and boats connecting you across the Dart Valley. Premier restaurants and inns are on your doorstep, as is one of the world's longest and most-popular walking routes – the South West Coast Path.
Accommodation:
The front door opens immediately into the open-plan living space with a lounge area that includes a sofa and armchair, a wall-mounted smart TV and a DAB radio. A feature wall of whitewashed stonework echoes the history of the building and surrounds the fireplace with a coal-effect electric fire. In the near window is the dining table for two.
The kitchen, although compact, is complete with an oven and hob, a fridge with a freezer box, a toaster, a kettle, and a microwave.
There's a double bedroom with space to hang clothes as well as a chest of drawers.
The shower room is off the lounge rather than the bedroom. It's also where you'll find the WC.
There is no private parking or parking permit included with this apartment.

I'm not a big fan of long essays in reviews,so here the bullet points:
+ Fantastic location, could hardly be better
+ Quite good layout of the flat
+ Comfy mattress, All very clean and neat
+ Well-stocked Coop just a few minutes walk away
+ Very good letting agency
- No proper curtains in bedroom (from the drill holes it looks there were once ones)
- Can be a bit noisy, especially in the evenings when people return from town
- The tiniest shower one can imagine
- The usual random and mismatched kitchen utensils, crockery and blunt knives you will find in almost any self-catering
- A bit random selection of furniture --- what is a quite big wine cooler doing there?

Perfect location. Parking is an issue (but this is made clear beforehand) and we always found somewhere as long as you don't mind walking a few minutes.
We noticed the same things as the previous reviewer - there was only one wine glass, and we really needed a clothes airer for our towels. In fact there is one but we only found it just as we were leaving - it's under the bed!! It would also be sensible to have a door mat to avoid wet or muddy boots on the carpet and a mirror in the bedroom would be good.
But overall we were very pleased and would stay there again if we were in Dartmouth.

Great location. We would stay here again. We did pop out to buy wine glasses and would suggest a clothes airer. Overall a great little property for 2 people.

Very very basic accommodation. Clean enough but awful smell, left windows open for 24 hours but smell wouldn’t go. Smallest shower I’ve seen in my life. Needs to be a bit more comforting. Lots of little things need a better finish.
It’s said they give you essentials but I don’t call black bin bags and a j cloth essential!!! Washing up Liquid, air freshener and a tea bag would have been much more useful
