The only negative was the pool. Filthy dirty, pieces of rotting 2x4 floating in pool. Tested pool with my testing strips. Chemical balance was off. Paid extra for heat, no pool guy all week. Probably should have notified owner of bad pool condition.

Our family had the privilege to stay at Water Oak location. The past three years, it has become a tradition to stay in HH with our daughter and her family. This is our first Sea Pines stay. It will now be our “go to” base. We love it!We loved the responsiveness of the management company, location, and property.We returned to our home in Asheville and two days later Helene hit. It is the reason our review was delayed. We have been fortunate not to have experienced the tragedy as severely as some neighbors and friends. We feel especially blessed to have had the time together without a care in the world. It has made all we are enduring today so much more manageable!

Overall, the property has a lot of potential, but the management company is not doing a good job. We rented the property for the heated pool, and were assured before we rented that this was possible. We arrived on Saturday, and knew right away that something was wrong and notified the rental company. The heater was never fixed, despite my repeated attempts and calls. We would not have rented this home, if not for the pool. The location is not great. Overall, we would not rent again and are very disappointed in the house and management company.
