Enjoy grilling out, a fun game of Tiki Ring Toss, or taking a swim in the heated pool. Pools are heated to 86 Whether it is a morning swim with a good read, or an evening swim under the stars and string lighting, you'll be sure to make memories that make THIS Marco Island house a favorite. The home was spacious for my family of 5. The home needs some updating but it was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. It would be great if they could have a key code instead of having to go pick up a key in the lockbox at 2am. Seems like most rental properties already offer this and it's a huge convenience. The pool seemed to stop heating and was cold part way through our stay we thought maybe they had just filled it but it continued to be that way for the next 2 days. The extra bath towels should have been in a more obvious place and at least 2 per person should have been in the bathrooms with more places to hang towels to dry.The smoke detectors started going off in the middle of the night and thankfully there was no emergency it was just that one had a low battery, which we changed, but I would think this is something that should never happen at a rental property since it should be on a regular schedule to change the batteries.There was the nice big wicker chairs out by the pool but they seemed to need cushions which we never found.All in all we were very comfortable and happy with the house and location.

The place felt very worn down and poorly maintained. Pillows and mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable, the furniture was shabby and mismatched (for example, the bedside tables were about a foot too high for the bed), and the requirements before checking out were ridiculous (strip beds, wash dishes, do laundry). If I knew I had to do that much work, I’d have paid the same amount and stayed at a hotel.
