We especially loved the dock access and the deck. The bedrooms are a good size and the kitchen was relatively stocked with cutlery and dishes and pans. Bring your own salt and pepper and all condiments. The towels provided were nice and plentiful and there were extra sheets and pillows in the closet. Having a washer and dryer on hand was nice. This place is a relatively simple and rustic cabin. Don't expect luxury but if you want a simple and pretty comfortable place to hangout with friends or your family, it'll do the job. Great location if you're going to the botanic gardens. It was like a 10 minute drive away and also close to a cute downtown.

Great location but house could use updates. We liked the location and view but there are things that need addressed. The sheets and blanket on the king bed were dirty with food crumbs and smelled like a dog. We had to sleep on a blanket as there were no other sheets. We washed everything and remade the bed the next morning. The pillows on the beds were flat and the foam mattress topper was not made for a king and was very stained. The coffee pot leaked, we flipped a breaker and had a hard time finding the breaker box as it was behind a mirror on a dresser. The deck and stairs are in need of some attention. The path to the dock is treacherous and not as pictured. I called to complain. They left me a voicemail but when I called back I received a text they would return my call but I never received another call. I expected an older home as I have rented in Maine many times but I was very disappointed in the beds, bedding and needed updates.
