Welcome to 3 Monkeys on Folly Beach! This luxurious single family home provides entertainment for the entire family while offering peaceful views of the Low Country and creek in the backyard. Large outdoor spaces offer perfect for relaxation in the shade after a long, fun-filled day at the beach. Only a 7 minute walk to the closest private beach access and 5.5 blocks to shops, restaurants, and entertainment.
The open layout creates a wonderful gathering space for the entire family, no matter the activity. Cook and serve your family meals with ease in the modern kitchen including 2 ovens, farmhouse sink in the oversize island, gas stove, lots of cabinet and counter space, and fully stocked with cookware and serveware. Dining table seats 6 comfortably with additional seating for 5 guests around the kitchen island and counter. Kitchen and dining area flow seamlessly into the living room with plush, comfortable furnishings with a long, wrap around couch and a smart TV. Play games, read books, or watch your favorite shows. Store your belongings in the custom entryway.
Screen porch is accessible from the living room. Sip a cool beverage and kick back in tranquility with a good book while enjoying the views of the creek and wildlife. For a little more action, take the stairs down to the open and covered deck areas that provide ample additional seating with a large flat-screen TV. Grill out on the gas grill. Have company hang out with you on the lounge chairs under the warm sun or the starry nights. Utilize the outdoor shower after your time on the beach.
Large master bedroom is on the first floor, which has 1 king bed, smart TV, full private bathroom ensuite, and a private balcony with woodland views. Half bathroom conveniently accessible from the living spaces. Remaining bedrooms are located on the second floor. One bedroom is outfitted with a king bed. The other bedroom has a queen bed. Both rooms have smart TVs. The bonus room is perfect for the younger generation in your party with a full-size bunk bed and a full-size futon along with a smart TV, games, toys, and reading nook with books. Guests on this floor will share the hall bathroom with a double vanity and shower/tub combination. All beds are made with fresh, high quality linens and bath towels provided.
Just a short, 25-minute drive will take you into historical, downtown Charleston to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer. Plenty of room for multiple families, great outdoor space, but could not figure out the outdoor lighting, or find the TV remote or adjust the fan. Contacted the property management and never received a reply. At the front steps, there is no porch light. There are gas lamps, with what looks like an electric starter, but could not figure out how to start. Instructions all around would be helpful.

Our group of 8 friends enjoyed our stay at 3 Monkeys! The house was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary items for cooking. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing and fun!

Let me start by saying this was by far one of the nicest VRBO properties we have stayed in, but it is starting to show slight wear as it likely sees some volume. Very tasteful, laid back design which it seemed to have everything you could think of for making meals and doing some beach area relaxing. The location just off of Folly Beach couldn't have been better. Very close to beach, quick walk to bars/restaurants and easy access to the main road to travel into Charlestown area. Property manager and owner were very accessible. We will return to this gem!
