We usually stay at the Château when we visit Crested Butte. We have not stayed in this particular unit or with this management company. I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed! The property management company was wonderful and never left us guessing on our stay. They are incredibly responsive and very well organized. The unit itself was very nice. Updated, spacious, and the views of the ski slope were incredible. We will be renting this unit again!

While the condo was clean and well fitted out, the building itself needs maintenance and attention. The hallways were smelly and not particularly clean.

I’ll put the positive first. The condo was very nice three bedrooms each had their own bathrooms, which was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked and also very nice. We did not use the pool or the hot tub, but they also looked very nice.
The hallways and stairwell were not very clean, but the unit was.
A few negatives, but this does not have to do with VRBO, Once we booked through VRBO Vacasa took over. The communication through Vacasa was terrible. On the Vacasa website, they only received a three star for this unit from myself. 1) there were no sheets blankets or pillows for the pull out couch, so the person sleeping on that the first night had none of those. We called Vacasa and could not get sheets or pillows out till the next day at noon, I find that unacceptable. A shared washer and dryer was out of order without any notice. So overall, the unit was nice, but I would not book through Vacasa again. And if VRBO sends the booking to Vacasa, I will cancel.
